~Danielle's POV~
"W-what do you mean you're going back on tour?" I asked.
"Management scheduled for us to go back on tour for a while. I tried to explain that we have Dylan coming and it'll be hard with another kid, but they said I still have to go." He said.
"How long are you going to be gone?" I asked.
"...Three months..?-"
"Li, how am I supposed to do that? Two kids? And the first three months that Dylan's gonna be here?"
"I know. I'm sorry. I tried everything I could. But Eleanor will be here to help you. I called her already. She's more than happy to help. I want to be here so bad, to help with Dylan. And to stay with Rosie and you. But this is my job. I have to do it. I'm sorry. Just please don't be mad." He said.
"I'm not mad, Li, I just am overwhelmed. Two kids is a big responsibility. But, I can do it. For us." I said.
"That's my girl. I know you can do it." Liam said as he kissed my cheek. I smiled and nodded.
"When are you leaving?" I asked.
"Three days."
"That's it? That's one day after Dylan gets here."
"Hey, you said you can do it. I know you can do it. And besides, the sooner it starts, the sooner it ends." He said.
"Liam. We have a slight problem..." I said.
His eyes widened. He knew what I was talking about.
"I'm.. I'm not gonna be here for Rosie's first day of kindergarten.." He said disbelievingly.
I didn't say anything.
"Maybe I can fly back just for that day." He suggested.
"It'll be hard for all of us to see you leave twice, Li." I said.
He sighed.
"And Dylan's first day of First grade.." He said.
"Hey, I can video tape it. You won't miss anything. And, we can Skype every night before they go to bed." I said.
"At least I'll get to see Dylan's reaction to his new room." He said. I nodded.
"I can help you pack," I said.
He nodded and we walked upstairs to our room.***** Friday *****
Liam leaves tomorrow. And we're on our way to pick Dylan up now.
"You ready to come to your new home?" Liam asked Dylan.
"Yeah!"
I smiled back at the two happy kids.
"You can have Mr. Cuddly Bear back." Rosie said to Dylan.
"No, you can keep him." Dylan said.
"When do we show them?" I asked Liam.
"As soon as Dylan is relaxed." He said.
We have a basement in our new house and we thought we'd use it as a playroom and so that's what we did.
When we got home, Rosie was really excited to show Dylan around the house. We followed them up to Dylan's room and his reaction to it made my heart flutter.
"Awesome! My room is so cool!" He said excitedly.
"Come and see my room!" Rosie said excitedly as she ran out and into her room. Dylan followed behind and by the time Liam and I entered, they were both jumping on Rosie's bed, laughing.
"C'mon, you crazy kids. Why don't we go out for dinner. As a family." Liam smiled at the last part.
We all agreed and Liam took Dylan out of Rosie's room so I could help her get changed into something nice.
It was a bit hard, because Rosie's room still had a lot of boxes to unpack.
I left Rosie with Liam and Dylan and went to get changed as well.
Once we were all ready, we all walked out to the car.
I put Rosie in her car seat and Liam helped Dylan into his.
Dylan was able to buckle himself into his. Rosie still needed help.
We drove off to a restaurant and enjoyed our first dinner as a whole family.
*****
*Saturday*
I drove all of us to the air port. Rosie and Dylan didn't exactly understand that Liam was leaving for three months.
I watched as Liam hugged Dylan and whispered something in his ear.
He then moved to Rosie.
"It won't be for long, sweetie. And we can Skype every night before you go to bed." Liam said to her.
"What's Skype?" She asked.
"It's where you guys can video chat with me. You'll see, later." Liam explained.
"I'll miss you." She said nervously.
"I'll miss you, too, sweetheart. But you have a wonderful first day of kindergarten, alright? Make lots of new friends." He smiled.
She nodded.
Liam stood up and walked over to me.
"It's only three months." He said in my ear. I nodded.
"You boys ready?" Paul asked.
They all nodded.
Perrie was going to be with the rest of her band for awhile, but Eleanor was staying back with me.
Liam and I had a final kiss goodbye and he grabbed his bag and walked with the rest of the boys.
I watched as my fiancé walked away. But he turned back.
"This isn't goodbye, just a few months." Liam smiled. I nodded.
The five boys turned the corner, and Eleanor and I took Dylan and Rosie back home.
A/N: this chapter seems depressing to me. It'll get better in the next chapter! Promise!
