『In medieval time au』
Marinette winced at the tightness of her corset. "Ah! Mum.. I think this is too.. tight." Her mother giggled. "Nonsense sweetie. This is the same corset I wore for my eighteenth birthday many years ago and I fit perfectly." The young woman rolled her eyes. "Well maybe that's because you were skinnier than me." Marinette's hair was in a loose braid with a flower tiara perched on top.
"Darling you look stunning tonight!" Marinette beamed from Alya's compliment as she walked down her marble spiral staircase. She wore a long embroidered red and white gown with angel sleeves and a small purse strapped on her side; with Tikki resting in it. Alya gave her a quick hug and had a huge smirk on her face. "Well guess who's coming tonight, princess."
"Umm.. party guests obviously." The burgundy hair colored girl rolled her eyes. "Yes Marinette. Party guests are obviously coming but I'm talking about someone specific. I'm talking about the love of your life. Adrien Agreste." Marinette swooned just by hearing his name. Alya adjusted her slightly frizzy hair. "And Marinette you should become more confident when he's around. Know what you're gonna say!"
A sigh came from Marinette. "I know I should be more confident around him but I just can't find the right words.." Her best friend walked towards her and gave a pat on the shoulder. "It's alright. But the most important thing that you need to do is to just be yourself." Marinette nodded and walked out her front door to the horse carriage waiting outside.
Alya followed behind her and hopped in the carriage. "Where to, lovely ladies?" The driver greeted. "To the Jardin Sacré (Sacred Garden), please." And on they went to the party destination.

Adrien and Nino threw stones in the pond seeing who could throw the farthest. "Hey! You cheated!" Nino exclaimed. Adrien laughed and shook his head. "What're you talking about? I won fair in square." Chloé snuck up on Adrien and hugged him from behind.
"Hello my sweet! Don't you think this birthday party of the clutz is boring? If so, why don't you just run off with me and grab a drink from the alehouse near by. And maybe we could-" Adrien shoved her off; not too rough to hurt her.
"Sorry Chloé. This is my friend's birthday party and I can't miss it. If you wanna go get a drink from the alehouse why won't you just take Nino with you!" He chuckled and playfully pushed Nino towards her. "What!? Him!!? Ugh, not in a million years!!" She opened her cotton pink umbrella and stormed off with a 'hmph'.
Nino irritably threw his hands in the air. "Why me of all people!!? Getting a drink with her!?" The blonde boy shrugged and laughed like the goon he was. Other party guests were arriving and still, the birthday girl and her companion weren't here.
Adrien had waited so long for a moment like this to happen where he can give her a gift. He had spent almost a year trying to make her a necklace made entirely of the finest jewels in the land.
"Here she is!!" He heard someone say and he snapped his head to where the entrance of the garden was. His jaw dropped at the sight of her. Pale porcelain skin, so much skin, a beautiful dress, blue crystal eyes, pink tinted lips. He took in the sight of it all.
Nino out of nowhere placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey Adrien. So, whatcha think about Mari?" The boy flinched from his touch. "I-I think I need a handkerchief." Adrien bowed his head down low to hide his steaming face. "Are you okay? Why do you need one?"
Adrien shook his head. "J-Just give me one please.. I think I'm gonna have a nosebleed." He could sense a smirk growing on Nino's face when he confessed his reason.
"You think Lady Marinette is that breathtaking huh?" Nino teased his best friend even more as he took out a handkerchief from his pocket.
