"hey! Patrick, how are you?" asked Pete from behind the counter.
"oh, I'm great! how bout you?" the strawberry blond responded with a beautiful smile.
"fantastic." replied the tattooed boy, who had a soft spot for the chubby boy with fedoras. "the usual?"
"yeah. maybe...you want to um, join me with, um, with that coffee?" the short flustered boy asked.
"oh, yeah. I'd love you, Trick. my shift ends now anyways." Pete said with a smile.
"...I know,"
----
lunch was overall enjoyable. the boys talked forever, and eventually got each others numbers.and that's why both boys held phones pressed to their ears while they mad plans for later that night.
"yeah, 6 is good for me." the small boy said.
"great, I'll pick you up then!" the black haired boy responded.
"alright, peter."
"bye, patty."
----
the restaurant was fancy. not too fancy, but nice.a cozy Italian place about a block away from the coffee shop.
"you look nice." Pete said as he and Patrick sat down.
he really did. his red cardigan, black jeans, a black button up, gray fedora, combat boots, leather jacket and of course, glasses.
"thanks, Pete."
they ordered food and talked forever it seemed like.
"I had a good time, Peter."
"me too. so," Pete began as they walked to Patrick apartment complex. "would you, um, like to make this like, maybe, exclusive?"
"yes, pete, I'll be your boyfriend."
