Chapter 1
Elizabeth's POV
I burst into the giant building, making a couple people look my way. I have to hurry! I walked right up to the receptionist, placing my hand down on the desk, looking at her, my face meaning I meant business. "I need to see God." I said seriously. Obviously she didn't get how serious I meant.
"Do you have an appointment?" she asked, sounding like she wasn't even in Heaven.
"No, but this is-" she cut me off.
"I'm sorry, but you have to have an appointment, and currently he is full for the week." She said, writing something on the computer in front of her. My eye twitched as she continued to ignore me.
"This is really important!" I yelled. "I have to see him." My now white wings twitched and tensed on my back as I got angry.
"Like I said, you are not allowed to see him unless you have an appointment." She said, turning away from me to answer a phone behind her. As she talked on the phone, my anger boiled until it was almost bursting.
"Fine, if you won't let me in, I'll let my self in." I mumbled as I walked away. I walked to the giant doors that held his office, the guards giving me looks.
"Do you have an appointment?" one asked.
"No." I flat out said.
"Then you can't co-" I cut him off by running forward and bursting open the doors. People yelled after me as I bolted for the giant desk. I squeaked as I felt a resistance on my dress, then a hard tug before I was trapped in a pair of strong arms.
"Where do you think your going?" A deep voice asked, sounding annoyed. I 'tch'ed and yelled out.
"God!" I screamed out. He looked at me, saw it was me, and then stood up.
"Stop." His voice boomed and echoed around the large room. Everything stopped as if someone had hit pause on a remote to life. Everyone was frozen as they all looked at the big man himself, me included.
The one that was holding me got his senses back first, but obviously not his brain cells. "But my lord!" He yelled at God. Who the hell yells at God, in the same room as them?!
"Let her go." God's voice boomed around the large room. They slacked their grip automatically, and I pushed away from them, backing up to God. "You are all dismissed."
There were complaints but one look from God and everyone left the room with their tails in between their legs. I turned to God once the door clicked shut and walked the rest of the way to his desk.
"So, what is it you need, Elizabeth?" God asked, voice softer now. I gave him a small smile.
"I need a favour, Uncle."
