Dark
I stared at a man through a scope, he was a brutish man with a dark brown hair and a beard to match, this man was Alexander Skarlett, and not only was he a known defense attorney for the Reyes family, but he was also my target for the night. Tonight, I didn't feel like being, making mistakes, so I crouched down on the roof outside his studio apartment watching through the scope of my Winmag as he bought a cheap hooker. "Who are you?" I heard a familiar voice call from behind me, "And why are you here" I stood up leaving my rifles on its perch to turn to Death, the hero this city wanted, the good guy, the all American hero "Well if it isn't the big blue Boy Scout himself" I said chuckling, my voice was distorted as it exited my mask, a new feature I added myself. "Well since you asked so nicely" I said walking a few steps closer to him "I'm here to do what you never could not since that one faithful night" I turned of the safety on my suppressed lc9s which I had holstered onto the back of my pants. "You're going to kill him" He asked rhetorically I clapped slowly for him "Bingo! Bingo! Bingo! Tell him what he won tom!" I shouted laughing in a decrescendo "Yea I'm going to kill him and who's to say he doesn't deserve it" he popped his knuckles weirdly putting his thumb over each finger and pressing down as he replied "No one, just like no one is to say he does deserve it" I smiled behind my mask and chuckled as I took in my surroundings for the fight that I knew was coming "I can't let you do this Sir" he said, I laughed turning my head slightly "Oh sir? No my name is Dark and don't worry about forgetting it because I'm about to beat it into you" I whipped out my lc9s firing off one shot from each before he kicked at me knocking one of my pistols out of my hand. I tried to shoot his stomach but he grabbed my arm dodging the bullet and judo flipping me over his back, I landed on my feet, but didn't break loose from his grip he pushed down in an attempt to break my arm, I dropped my other pistol and cried out in pain as I kicked his back breaking his grip and knocking him away. He turned to face me I could see the anger on his face even though the only part of it I could see were his eyes, I gave him a hand gesture to "bring it on" and he did he swung at me with hooks worthy of a boxer, but i managed to dodge most of them though two lighter blows did land my jaw but neither of them managed to stun me or even slow me down "Again your style, slow but effective" I told him, as I kicked him in the gut knocking him back so I could land three quick punches to the gut, but the right hook I threw he ducked under giving me an uppercut that hit me like a freight train knocking me on my ass. I flipped up from my back to my feet in Kung Fu movie fashion and stood there I need to let him hit first turn his power against him. He jabbed quickly and I side stepped out of its way grabbing his arms and slamming my knee into his stomach obviously knocking the air out of him. I threw him to the ground and grabbed his collar with one hand and began to punch him again and again in his mask with the other until I could see the blood under his mask, his mask was cracked, and his breathing slowed. He was near Death ironically and I stood up grabbing him by his collar and dragged his body over to where my rifle was he watched through a half swollen shut eye, barely able to move as I lined up sights on the man sending an Asian woman out of his apartment not aiming for his head but for that void in his chest he played off as a heart and slowly, steadily I squeezed the trigger hearing the loud bang of a gun shot and seeing his blood splatter onto the window I shot him through. His body fell forward sliding down to the floor and leaving a small trail of blood down the glass. I tore off Deaths mask and threw it down into the street below hearing it crunch under a car as I began to speak "If you get in my way again that'll be you" I told him "except I won't make it so quick" I stood up and walked away leaving him there to possibly die.
