mom?

I see your smile
I hear your voice
Yet my heart does not rejoice

For many years I've always pondered
If your voice will ever wander
Seeing you is like a dream
Yet one that must not be foreseen

Oh my dear mom
I loved you
Yet you never came
Seeing you now is killing my day

I thought I'd be happy
But trouble is here
Its tatted on your back
Not leaving you for many years

We'll try again
And smile to see
If any beauty will be deemed

I always wondered what you were like
But seeing you now is like a struck with a knife

I see you now,
But is that really you I wonder
