"I don't understand why you're so mad at me," Pete murmured. I rolled my eyes, feet on the dashboard.

"Why don't you keep your fucking eyes on the road, asshole?" I sneered, looking out the window. I gasped suddenly as Pete pulled the car over and pulled me close to him by the collar so we were inches away from each other.

"What is your fucking problem?" He hissed into my face. "One day we're fine and the next you're acting like a fucking bitch what did I do?" He snapped,

"I never wanted to go on this fucking trip on the first place," I jerked away from him and turned away from him. "I only went because I thought you would finally get off my damn case about this fucking make-believe place..." I narrowed my eyes before turning back to him. "It's not real Pete, grow the hell up and realize something for once!" My voice got louder

"It is real!" He insisted, glaring at me. "Damnit Mikeyway, it's REAL!" He screamed, and began punching me.

"Pete, what the hell!" I gasped, writhing, as his knuckles began hitting me in the chest and arm. I began fighting back, and began punching him back. "Get the hell off of me!" I screamed, backpedaling into the door before opening it up and falling back onto my back in the gravel.

I heard Pete sobbing and I stumbled to my feet. A few cars passed and I got back in, brushing myself off.

"Pete." I murmured, leaning over to him. "Are you okay?" I'm so sorry," I murmured. He looked over at me, eyes red, and suddenly pulled me into him.

Our lips crashed together and I let out a gentle gasp. He wrapped his arms around my neck and kissed me, passionately.

"Mikey, I'm so sorry. We can go back to New Jersey, I promise," he began crying again. "We can go back and it'll be okay. It'll be okay because we're together and I wouldn't be anywhere but with you and I'm sorry I did this," he buried his face in my chest and began sobbing really hard.

"It's okay, Pete," I whispered. "I'm sorry too."
