Chapter 7. Arrival of Hiro

Hiccup's POV

I strolled down the hallways as I went to my locker.

Eliz was nowhere to be seen since I woke up.

I was thinking of her since I woke up until now.

She had been acting weird since we got home from the park last night.

I asked her about it multiple times but she keeps saying no.

Somehow, I felt that she is hiding something from me.

But I don't know what it is. I gotta admit, she thinks, moves and looks exactly like Elsa.

They have many similarities. Maybe I'm just being so dumb.

Elsa is dead. I need to move on! "Hey Pitch. Look what we have here."

My thoughts vanished, my attention went to the Stabbington Brothers.

Eliz told me to stay away from them. She explained that they are bullies.

They like to mess with people and go into fights.

I somehow heard some rumors about them that they are drug users.

"Oh, it's the Hiccup boy!" Pitch laughed in an evil way.

"Ready for some pain, boy?" one of the stabbington brothers asked.

"No. I have no time with this stupid nonsense. Just stay away from me, I'm busy." I blurted out.

Why did I say that? Damn, Hiccup! Oh boy, I'm doomed.

"What did you say?" Pitch hissed at me angrily.

"Son of Odin, please save me." I whispered to myself.

At the corner of my eye, I see Pitch aiming his fist on me.

"Hey! Go pick someone your own size!" a familiar voice echoed through the hallway.

I looked to see Eliz grabbing Pitch in the collar and gives him a punch.

"God, damn! What the heck is wrong with you, stupid girl!" Pitch said.

"I think I should be the one asking that. Even though you're rich, doesn't mean you can mess and fool around here." Eliz hissed.

"How dare you say that to me!" Pitch glared.

"If I ever see you bully someone, I'll kill you. Don't mess with them, especially my friends." Eliz spat.

Pitch just laughed at her making Eliz grimace.

"Do you think this is funny? Well guess what! You're nothing to me! IDIOT!" Eliz yelled.

Laughs echoed through the hallway as Eliz said those words.

"GET LOST!" Eliz yelled angrily at Pitch and his gang.

They nodded fearly and run like mice who is being chased by cats.

Eliz went to me and grabbed my hand as we walk to class.

"Next time, stay away from them." Eliz told me.

"I can't. They keep following me." I said to her.

"Just call me if they're messing with you." Eliz said.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked her.

"Doing what?" she asked as she looked at me.

"This. Defending me." I said. "Well, because you're my best friend."

"Is that the only reason?" I asked her.

"Nope. I-I just...care for you. I care." she admitted.
