|2| Her Missing Smile

Abhi's P.O.V.
I was waiting outside of the clinic to check on her, and finally she stepped outside with her friend. "Hey! Are you ok?" I was really concerned, I do not know why it was bothering me deep inside and making me feel guilty. Both of them didn't respond, so I ran after her and tried to apologize. "I'm sorry" it was so weird! I didn't know what to say.  When she didn't respond, I just decided to go back to class.

When I was in class, I tried to forget about what happened but I just couldn't, my eyes just kept looking at her and her innocence. Her beautiful eyes and her long wavy hair. Everything about her was perfect except for one thing that was missing......
For some reason, that missing thing was bothering me and it made me think, was it missing because of me?

That perfect girl was missing a smile.

So I decided, that I'm going to try to get a smile on her beautiful face.

At lunch break, I was looking all over for her and I found her sulking at a bench, she was all alone so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to go and talk to her, as I went and sat closer to her, she looked frightened. "Hi! I'm Abhi" I introduced myself. "I-I-I got-ta goo" she responded me with a broken voice, I could tell that she was shy so I just went after and decided to get straight to the point.

"Hey, I just wanted to apologize about what happened a while ago" I quickly said. She turned around, she was hiding something by covering her right arm with her left hand. She took a deep breath and said "oh, about that. It's fine, I'm ok". She had an amazing soft voice. And then I noticed what she was hiding from me, she had a huge scar on her arm. Which made me worried and I lifted her arm and asked her "oh shit! This happened because of me" I almost shouted. " oh no, this- I got this a long time ago" she said, again in her broken voice. Before I could say more she ran away, sobbing.....

I couldn't understand anything. Why was she acting like this. Was she scared of me, or did I hurt her too bad?!?! I clearly remember that I held her so tight and secured, then how did she get such a big scar?

What was Sana afraid of?
What was bothering Sana?
And where did she get that scar?

Was Abhi starting to like her?
