Guyssssss!!!!

I'm so sorry!!!! I know I didn't update since like forever!

Kya? Kya? Kya? *drops phone 3 times*

So before I start this chapter, there are a few things I need to tell you!!

1. I didn't update because I was a lazy bum. No judging please!! 😂
These few days I'm busy watching Sid and Alia movies!

And yes, disadvantage of being an NRI. I didn't watch Kapoor and Sons in a movie theater or on television. I had to stream it live, and the movie was not even clear and some parts were cut. I know that's really sad.... :(
But at least I can watch it anytime!!

I also repeated movies like Ek Villain, my ultimate fav!
And of course, SOTY!

I finally watched Shaandaar, and I realized it's not that bad! I really liked the movie! And also, Aila!! (I don't call her Alia anymore! She's Aila!) Uff! I loved Alia's character! She's an insomniac like me! (You probably have figured that!)

Moving on to Sid!

2. OMFG!! Baar Baar Dekho poster is out!!!! Can you believe it?!?!

I also found more pics on Instagram!

Is it only me, or this movie reminds me of Love Story 2050? Like time machines and all, right?

I loved that movie!

3. Shoutout to my great friend SuruDta !! I'm in love with her book, Arranged Marriage. I really like the awesome cast! They are all my fav actors!

I know I talk tooooooooo much so, Let's go back to the book!!

Sana's P.O.V.
"Abhi, is there any special occasion? Why did you suddenly plan to go to Delhi?" I asked him while packing my bag for the trip.
"It's my brother's wedding." He said with a frown on his face.
"What? Why didn't you tell me before? I have to bring nice clothes, lenghas and saris. I can't wear a dress there, can I?" I spoke in a single breath.
"This is why I didn't tell you!" He said with slight irritation.
"Sorry Abhi, I really want to impress your parents. For that, I have to dress up properly and it just..........  I'm scared...." I said as my tone lowered.
"What's there to be scared about?" He raised his eyebrows.
"I'm scared, that I won't fit in. I'm scared that your family won't accept me." I stared at the ground the whole time.
"Sana, you are perfect the way you are. You don't need to change." He said in a gentle voice and he hugged me.
He pulled away and said "I'll just check if Kuhu is done with her packing."

---------- The next day-----------

We were in the flight and I noticed that Kuhu kept on clenching on Abhi. I never saw her this scared before. I don't think she was scared of the plane, it was definitely something else that bothered her. Abhi looked tense because of Kuhu. He kept whispering something to her.
I wanted to ask what was wrong, but I guess I should just let it go.

Abhi's residence was 4 hours from the city. We hired a car and a driver.

Abhi's P.O.V.
We were in the car, and Kuhu was really frightened. I calmly put her to sleep by slightly patting her shoulder. This made me feel so much better. I hope nothing goes wrong this time.

Sana looked confused, I wanted to tell her about Kuhu. But she might be even more scared to visit my family.

The whole car ride was quiet, Sana was feeling awkward. I just wanted to go and cuddle her. I went near her and gave her a little kiss. She smiled at me and hid her face in my jacket. I knew she was crying, but instead of asking her why, I didn't say anything and gave her a tight hug.

The driver thought we were making out!! We just laughed it off and Sana was happy again. Win win!! Both my girls are happy, but I really am scared of what will happen next.

We finally reach at my house, I was happy but Kuhu squeezed my hand in nervousness.
I rang the bell and waited for someone to answer the door.

"Abhi, I'm looking fine na?" Sana whispered.
I gestured 'mast' with my fingers
"You are looking so wife-material, that I could marry you right now!" I joked.
"Shut up!" She said and slapped me.

My aunt answered the door and Kuhu held my hand super tight.

"Abhi puttar!! (son/child)"  she screamed and cupped my cheeks.
I bent down to touch her feet, and Sana did the same.
"Beta, who is she?" My aunt asked and gave an ugly smirk to Sana.
Sana looked at the ground and she looked really pretty in her white floral kurti and denim jeans.
I looked at Sana and held her hand.
"She's my friend." I said.

Sana's P.O.V.
What the hell?
Why did Abhi say "friend"?!?!
Maybe he is just waiting for the right time.

"Yeh kya kapre pehne hai tumne, Kuhu?" (What type of clothes are you wearing?) the lady said in a painful tone.
Kuhu hid behind Abhi and they stepped inside the traditional and beautiful Indian house. I followed them.
