Rant #10 - You Need to Take a Dose of Shut the Fuck Up.

Incase the title's too long for you to read it, it says:

You need to take a dose of shut the fuck up.

I'm in a hotel room [ all alone, might I add ] and I'm bored as fuck and recently a ton of shit has been pissing me off which is kind of why this isn't about one exact topic.

Note: I'm writing this on my phone, so bare with me.

1: Homophobes.

No, I'm not going to write a long ass paragraph about how everyone should respect same sex relationships and blah blah blah. Not that I'm against it or anything but that's been spoken about a lot of times already.

Instead, I'm going to talk about something that really hits a nerve and doesn't seem to be talked about at all.

Homophobe?

Homophobe means a person who hates or fears homosexual people.

Now that we've got that out of the window, PEOPLE WHO DON'T RESPECT/AGREE with homosexuality are NOT HOMOPHOBES.

If someone's a strong Christian/Muslim/Hindu or whatever and doesn't agree with the whole same sex situation, does NOT mean you have the right to call them a homophobe because I don't know if you've noticed but people of the like have been getting BASHED ON way too much nowadays.

There's a fine line between "OHMIGOD, you're gay?! Ew, what the fuck? That shit's a sin fag!" and "Oh, you're homosexual? Well, it's your life but I just don't agree with you on that."

First comment? Homophobe.

Second? Normal fucking person who is entitled to their own O P I N I O N.

Heh, people go around saying, "Why aren't gays accepted? It's their life, not yours."

So why aren't people who don't agree with the subject accepted? It's their life, not yours right?

It's getting to the point where these people are treated like they're abnormal and it's so ironic because honestly it's the biggest form of hypocrisy I've ever heard of.

"Gays are not abnormal but we'll just treat people who don't accept them that way."

If you're going to fucking talk about equality, then please make sure you're preaching it in the first place.

Because if you aren't then you're not gay, you're not straight, you're just a fucking hypocrite.

2: Racism.

OhMiFuck.

I was in Germany a couple of days ago and my familia and I were walking down the city center yeah?

And we saw this huge barricade event thingy happening going on so we're like, "oh cool, let's check it out" and guess what it was?

It was a couple { a lot } of people talking shit about Islam & Muslims.

My family is a Muslim family but I'm going to take this from an Atheist's point of view.

This whateveryoucallit had a poster of a muthagiba [ wearing the scarf ] woman, shot.

Yeah, shot. It had the Quran with an ex on it and somewhere along the speech, they mentioned the Prophet [ pbuh ]. Not to mention there were a group of guys, running round and waving the cross in a few Muslims that were around's faces.

And this bothered me. A lot.

Racism goes round in lots of ways but I'm just going to stick with religion today.

Obviously something's been bothering the Germans about Muslims. Probably the fact that they think they are terrorists.

Alright, in every religion there's often a group/groups who are extremists.

EVERY religion. Extremist means taking things a bit too far.

For example,

Bin Ladin - Muslim Extremist.

Ku Klux Klan - Christian Extremists.

Adolf Hitler - Jewish Extremist.

Don't tell me your religion is perfect and doesn't have then cuz' honey, I've got wikipedia links on the go.

We've all got them and they give the religion a bad image.

And sometimes, the media carries it a bit off.

So I'll tell you this, just because a certain number of people are a bit close minded, arrogant and destructive, does not mean everybody is.
