INTRODUCTION/PROLOGUE

-Cassidy's POV-

"Daddy will I ever see him again?"

I was 6 years old, thinking about my best friend, Luke, who had moved away 2 years ago. My dad looked back at me with a look that said "sorry". I frowned, thinking about all the good times we had together.

My dad had gotten remarried to this other woman who didn't have any kids, so there were no new additions to the family. It was just me, my sister, my dad and my new mom. She was pretty nice, no complaints from me, and my sister liked her too. My mom was moving in today, and everyone was excited. 

-Luke's POV-

Since I moved to Frayerville from Rockland, I had to make new friends. One of my first friends name was Calum. He was such a cool kid, and he turned out being like a brother to me. My mom never got married again, so it was mostly just me and her, but Calum and his family were like a 2nd family to me. 

4 YEARS LATER

I had recently found out that Calum was moving to Rockland. My old town. He was moving because his dad had gotten a job there and it was easier if they lived there. I was devastated beyond belief. Everyone left me, and I didn't know how much longer i could handle it. But Calum's friendship with me would last forever. We knew we would stay friends forever no matter what. Even if he lived across the world, we would still be friends. Our parents, well my mom and his parents also became really good friends and would contact each other every now and then. I kept living my life here in Frayerville and soon befriended a boy named Michael. He was a year older than me, but we lived in the same neighborhood. I missed Calum a lot and hoped he'd come back to visit me.
