     Leo's pov

I woke up to the sound of the pigeons on the roof of the flat; basically the same way I woke up the other days, which was strange, because there had never been pigeons before. Perhaps I had to make sure it weren't just Gem and Capricorn fooling with me.

First thing I did after waking up was checking the clock to see if I was still on time to see my mum, but it was too late already and with multiple groans leaving my mouth, I dragged myself up to the living room.

The awaiting note from my mother went straight into the trash and instead of following my usual daily routine to get the mail downstairs, I walked over to the balcony. It wasn't as warm as I expected; gee, winter really was nearing, even though these were the last months of summer. July was ending, August was nearing – meaning to all of us that school would be starting soon.

I sighed while opening my closet to take out my clothes for today. I'd completely forgotten about school. School was something back in the past, something that didn't have to bother me now. Unfortunately for me, we all went to the same school – Orbis High – and we even shared classes.

I snorted to my mirror-self and pulled down my shirt in front of the mirror. I was placed into a class with about twenty kids, including me, Aqua, Cancer, Pisces and Aries. The other class I knew of had Gemini and Capricorn in it, the younger ones among us. Virgo was the oldest, a year elder than most of us and so, he'd passed high school already. The lucky bastard.

I winked to my reflection and left off to the kitchen, while I calculated how many weeks and days were left to us. School started in September... Well, great. Barely a month to go.

The milk spilled anywhere but in my bowl when I got scared up from a knock on the door, followed by the door itself opening. Let's see; it was early in the morning and someone was visiting me, knocking on the door first before coming in. Did I know anyone who'd do that?

'Morning, darling!' I shouted to the hallway, where a supposedly Aquarius closed the door. My guessing was right – just a second later, Aqua herself walked into the kitchen, smiling softly. 'Hey, Lee. You're not busy doing anything, right?'

'Nope, just messing around with cereal while thinking about the horrible upcoming school year,' I told her as I cleaned the spilled milk. I could almost hear the frown in Aqua's next sentence. 'Why are you thinking about school already? It's not like you to worry about something such as school, especially in your thoughts.'

I took a spoon from the counter and turned around to my best friend, making sure not to spill any more of my precious breakfast. 'Well, seeing how I almost didn't pass last year, I figured I might start this year with that in mind. Besides, imagine what would've happened if I didn't pass; I would've been placed into that class with our married couple.' 'You learned a valuable lesson,' she smiled, 'but, actually, I didn't come to talk abou-'

'It would've been awful if they'd placed me in their pity little class,' I continued on, picturing me sitting in front of Gemini and Capricorn as they pulled "fun" pranks on me. 'Could you even imagine what the situation here what have been like? I mean, not that it would've changed much, but being in a class together would drift us together more and that would mean I'd actually have to spend time with them – ugh, I can't think of that. Let's switch the subject, hm?'
