Something silent

     Libra's pov

The discussion between Aries and Leo was about three days ago now, and since then, Taurus and Sag kept spilling everywhere how they were made Chaos-Survivors – whatever that might be – and I wasn't. Did it bother me? Well, it didn't really matter to me if I was or if I wasn't one of those Survivors, but it was slightly annoying how my brothers kept rubbing the subject in my face at every opportunity they got.

'Ah, look at that, we're out of cereal,' Sag's voice yelled from the kitchen. 'I better go to Virgo, my fellow Chaos-Survivor, and ask him if he has something left.'

'Sure, good luck with that,' I mumbled and went on to the next page of the book I was reading.

'You see that, Taurus?' my youngest brother yelled and walked back into the living room. 'He's jealous! He's jealous because we are Chaos-Survivors and he isn't!' 'Ah, poor Libra,' Taurus grinned. He plopped down next to me on the couch and from the corner of my eye, I saw him looking over at Sag for a second before moving back to me. 'It's okay, bro. It just means that we get to put our names on that awesome plate –' 'And that Gem, Aries and Pisces trust we can survive the chaos here!' Sag shouted and jumped on the empty place on the couch, on my right side, so that both of them were sitting next to me and grinning wider than ever.

I sighed, put my book down and started the same talk I'd told them yesterday and the day before that. 'Guys, listen to me. We've been here for almost two weeks, and nothing even happened – alright, so there was a small misunderstanding between Aries and Leo – and I don't think anything will happen. Which means I don't care if my name ever appears on that plate, because it doesn't matter anyway. Besides – Chaos-Survivors? Seriously? Who wants to be called that?'

'I do,' said Sagittarius right away. 'Yeah, and me too,' Taurus responded. 'And, you know what, Lib? We're fine with you not believing in the chaos which will come. Because we will be alright, as Chaos-Survivors, and we're gonna live off happily, while you're gonna have a mental-breakdown.'

'I won't have a mental-breakdown,' I groaned through my teeth, and stood up. 'You know what, I'm done with your whining. Let's go do something real here, like, the fact we're completely out of food.' 'Does this mean we're going to Virgo?' Sag asked me with an excited look on his face, but it disappear when I shook my head. 'No, we're going to find a place where we can find food – not apartment 24, Sag – and we're going to do some shopping. Alright, why don't you go find me a big bag or something, I'm going to look for stores in the neighborhood.'

'Isn't there a supermarket right at the end of this street?' said Taurus, to which Sag nodded. 'Yes! I saw it when we drove past it in dad's car!' 'Great,' I said approvingly. 'We can just walk to that, the street is only about fifty meters, right?'

No. I wasn't right.

I don't know what fifty meters was, but even if the street was only that long, it still seemed miles to the supermarket with Taurus next to me, whining about his sore feet and how it was already too warm to go out, and Sagittarius somewhere before us, who was trying to climb every small tree and jump down as we walked past us.

'Watch it, Sag!' Taurus yelled when the smaller boy almost landed on his back. 'Can you stop climbing trees for a moment? You're not a baby anymore, or are you?'

'Thank gosh, we're here,' I sighed and pointed them at the large supermarket. As I looked back over my shoulder, I noticed I was still able to see a part of the flat. Well, so it turned out to be fifty meters after all.

Sag ran up to the door and held it open, as Taurus and I followed, both silent and without anything to say. That changed once we were inside and we actually had to pick things, because, no matter the fact we were brothers and grew up together, our taste might as well just be picked by three random people.
