~*~*Damon's P.O.V*~*~
Damn it! How could I let this happen?! I am so stupid! This should've never happened. Katherine shouldn't have come over, I shouldn't have went into Kathleen's room and Kathleen should've listened to Anna.
I looked around, only to find out that I was in the basement. I hadn't noticed until now that I was surronded by fire. I struggled to get up but failed many times. I decided it was best if I just layed here and died. It's no use trying to get out of here. So, I'm just going to sit here and wait until my death strikes. Memories flooded into my mind. Memories of Kathleen. The door creaked open just then, causing me to look up. There stood Bonnie at the entrance of the basement. Great. More trouble.
"Oh my god, Damon!" She shouted. Urgh. I wish people would stop worrying about me! Bonnie started to chant some words that I couldn't make out. Then the fire around me disappeared. I was in front of her in an instant. She just stared at me. I walked past her at vampire speed. Of course she followed. Then I bumped into something. It was Anna.
"God, Damon, watch where you're going!" Anna shouted. I had a worried expression on my face, causing her to go into a nervous breakdown. "Oh my god, Klaus kidnapped her?! How could you let this happen, Damon?! I thought you loved he--" I pinned her against the wall.
"I don't think you want to finish that sentence, Anna." I threatened, tightening my grip on her throat. Anna whimpered, causing me to let go. I knew that if I killed Anna it would hurt Kathleen. "You're so lucky." I muttered, walking outside and getting into my car. Of course Anna and Bonnie followed.
"Wait, so you're not even gonna try and save her?" Anna asked. Was she stupid? Apparently.
"No. No I am not. OF COURSE I AM!" I shouted. "We'll need Bonnie though." I said. Bonnie looked scared. "Look, Bonnie, whether you believe it or not, you have the hundreds witches' power and you're the one to defeat Klaus. Not Kathleen, not me and certainly not Anna. But you." I lectured. Bonnie looked ready to lose her mind. I instantly drove off and into the woods. I stopped when we were close enough. I could hear Klaus talking to Kathleen. As much as I wanted to rip him to shreds, I knew I couldn't. It would blow our cover.

Klaus pushed me onto the grass. I was now sitting next to Elena. She looked freaked. I chuckled. She just glared at me.
''You think this is funny?! We're going to die and you think this is funny?!" Elena shouted. I smirked. Making her angry was the least I could do right now. It's the only fun thing to do here anyway.
"No, Elena, I don't. And if you hadn't realized, I am more scared than you are. I just don't show it easily-unlike you." I said. I was basically calling her a wimp. Here's three things wrong with Elena:
1) She wants to be saved all the time
2) She loves Stefan and
3) She can't take a joke
There's way more but I just don't want to name them. :). See, I can be nice-when I want to. That's when I noticed Elena wasn't paying attention to me. She was paying attention to the fire that circled us. Elena stood whilst I sat down. I just smiled.
"Oh my god, we're gonna die. We're gonna die!" Elena whispered. I rolled my eyes. What a Drama Queen.
"Elena, we're not gonna die. I'm sure Damon gave you his blood. So, when Klaus "kills" you, you won't be dead. You'll be...undead." I assured her. I was still scared though. I was going to die. Not Elena. I just wish that--.
"It's your turn now, m'dear." Klaus whispered. The fire that circled me was now fading. I gasped. I have to get out of here. Quick. I tried running but that didn't work. Considering Klaus was in front of me now. I sighed. I was going to die. Klaus caressed my cheek.
"Get off of me!!" I shouted, struggling to get out of Klaus's grasp. That's when the pain struck. It was in my stomach area. I screamed an ear-piercing scream.

I heard a scream. Kathleen. I could smell her blood from here. It smelled so good. I shouldn't be thinking about her that way. I hissed.
"Damon, don't. She'll die if you do." Bonnie said, holding me back. For a witch, she was strong.
"She's dying already! I am not going to just sit here and wait until she turns to ash! Bonnie, she'll die if we don't do something." I shouted. She sighed and then let go. I thanked her mentally and then took off.
I snuck behind Klaus's witch and then snapped her neck like a twig. Klaus quickly turned around, spotting me. He appeared in front of me. He grabbed my throat, squeezing it with all his might. I stared straight into Kathleen's eyes. They were filled with sadness, fear and anger all mixed together. I saw Kathleen pick something up. A stake. She aimed it straight at Klaus's heart. But when she threw it, he caught it. He plunged the stake into my heart, causing me to black out and fall onto the ground.

I gasped and ran over to Damon. I put his face in my hands and then did something I never did in my life. I started to cry.
"Damon? Damon? Damon?!" I whispered/shouted, shaking him. I looked up at Bonnie. "Bonnie, do something! Please! He can't die." I shouted. Bonnie nodded and leaned over him. She chanted some words I couldn't make out. Then she shook her head.
"I'm sorry, Kathy." She whispered, hugging me. I hugged her back and continued to cry. "I really am." She said in my ear. I nodded and crawled over to Damon. Then I silently layed beside him and rested my head on his chest.
"I can't lose the way I feel about you. I love you, Damon." I whispered and then softly kissed him.
