Phil's POV.

"That was the most physical activity I've done since I was four." Dan panted, still holding me as if we'd just got married.
"Dan, you can put me down." I said reassuringly, careful not to let him overexert himself.
Still, he ignored my comment and walked up the next flight of stairs and into the living room. Placing me down on the couch softly, he placed a kiss to my forehead. I could already feel myself slipping into a deeper sleep.
"Goodnight Philly." He whispered, and as he went to walk off, I grabbed his wrist.
"Stay." I whined, patting the front of the sofa.
He sighed, then lifted me up gently and placed me down so my head was resting against his chest.
I could feel his heart beat and it sped up every time I moved. I smiled at the thought, before drifting into a peaceful sleep.

I woke up to Dan's chest pressing up against my back, his slow, steady breaths breathing on my neck, which were sending a tingling sensation down my back. His arm was draped over my torso protectively, I was careful not to wake him as I checked the time on my phone.

6:00pm

We hadn't checked the time we got home. I'm sure it'll be alright, I mean there was no one else with us at the hospital.
I tried to get up, but when I moved, my head throbbed.
Eventually I just gave up and snuggled into Dan's embrace more. His body reacted and his arm pulled me closer to him, sending butterflies flying through my stomach.
I smiled and shuffled around so that I was facing him, which was extremely difficult with a cast on one foot, and nudged my head into his chest. When I was all curled up he kissed my forehead, his eyes staying shut.
I whispered quietly "I love you." Before reaching up to kiss his lips.
His eyes shot open in confusion, before closing slowly again as he deepened the kiss.
I moved myself so I was straddling him, and he ran his fingers through my hair.
He hesitantly pulled away, and found himself looking at me with those hazel eyes.
"God you're gorgeous."
"Says you." I replied and he laughed before leaning up and kissing me again, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me closer.

*timeskip to a few days later*

"So yeah, that's where I really went, and I appreciate all the donations. Without you guys I wouldn't have survived. That could've been the end of amazingphil!
Special mention to Dan, my best friend, who encouraged this and helped to make this all happen."
I looked down at the sympathetic comments flooding through the chat.
"Thankyou guys it means a lot. Okay!" I clapped my hands together. "New topic. I see someone's mentioned tour dates. Well seeing as all that happened, we've had to postpone it, but I'll hobble into the stage if I have to!"
I heard Dan's voice as he walked a down the hallway.
"Are you on Younow Philly?" He asked, his voice echoing.
"Yeah. Keep it PG Danny."

After a while, we were talking, it was getting close to dinner time.
"We've got to go as my stomach is yelling at me. Say goodbye babe!" I flinched internally, but thankfully I don't think he noticed what I'd just called him. The fans, however, did.
"Bye!" Dan said from across my room.
I waved before shutting the lid of my laptop as the comments were flooding through.
"Alright, I'm going to make dinner. What do you want?" Dan piped up.
"Takeout?" I pleaded.
"Alright, fine. But you're getting the door. Too many stairs." He kissed me quickly and walked out. I turned back to my computer and opened tumblr, to find my face sprawled all over the screen.
Most of these were gifs or videos of me saying the word "babe," to Dan.
I mean we've slipped up so many times in the past trying to film videos, so it was bound to happen.
It was cute the way they acted.
It was about five minutes before Dan realised what I had done.
He walked into my room backwards.
"Did you just call me babe?"
"Yup."
"Live on Younow?"
"Yeah."
"And I responded?" He asked.
"Yes hon." I was still looking at my computer.
"Oh. Alright." He put his tea he made fresh on my desk and gently took my laptop, placing it next to it.
"Hey-!" I was interrupted by him grabbing my arms and pulling me up into him, engulfing me in a huge hug.
"I love you lion." He said.
"I love you too bear." I smiled into his jumper.
He tipped my chin up and kissed me softly for what felt like the hundredth time today, but I didn't mind.
He was mine.
