I think poetry is beautiful, it has a way of expressing emotions in a way I don't think words can but poetry expresses emotions by just one word.
I feel that in Islam, like every other religion there needs to be poetry to keep us surviving and goin...

They stared at me like I was a monster. To them I was like an alien covered in black from head to toe.
I stared at them and smiled ignoring their looks. To me I was the most beautiful person in the world.
The hijab reminds me of my religion. Many are not as fortunate as me. Many aren't given the courage to wear the hijab. The hijab is my guide.
The hijab brings me closer to Allah. The Lord loves nothing else but to see a women covering herself from a world full of evil. The hijab defines me.
The hijab gives me my identity. Like when people get given their name, When people have a personality. The hijab is who I am. My personality.
The hijab shields me from the world. A world where good and bad people stand. When a person loves something so much the first thing they do is protect it. The hijab is my only protection.
The hijab makes me feel beautiful. I live in a world where people care about the outer beauty not the inner beauty. It is in fact the inner beauty that captures eyes Only a hijabi can have that beauty. The hijab itself is a beauty.
The hijab gives me confidence. It takes courage to be the only one standing when all they do is laugh at you. But that's what a hijabi does. Rather than following a crowd. The hijabi makes its own. The hijab makes me braver.
The hijab makes me happy, Knowing that not everyone has the ability and strength to wear a hijab. The hijab is a gift given by the Lord.
