Chapter 11. Betrayal
Aria's P.O.V
Silence.
Tense atmosphere.
I waited for an answer, staring at Yasmin.
Yes, the two weeks trip to The Bahamas was finally over. Me and Zayn hadn't talked much for the remaining time of the holiday ever since he acted like a two-faced crap with me. When we returned home Yasmin and Justin had picked me and Zayn up, but Zayn left straight away because he had some errands to run and coincidentally so did Justin. After they left and I got comfy in my room I thought it was best to tell Yasmin about what had happened on the night me and Zayn got drunk. Now that I think of it, it was stupid to tell her because we were both drunk and we only kissed it's not like we did anything more or it's not like the kiss meant anything. Right now, I'm sitting here regretting I told her while she was staring at me, her face had no emotions. "Yasmin?" I asked, in a shaky voice. Finally she smiled at me and relaxed. I sighed in relief "I'm so weird, I shouldn't have told you, it doesn't matter" Then her smile faltered and she furrowed her eyebrows "Doesn't matter?" Her voice close to shouting, making my flinch.
"I-I...that's not what I m-meant" I stammered.
"You kissed my boyfriend, now you're saying it doesn't matter?!" Now she was shouting, standing up and towering over me.
"I'm sorry, it was completely unintentional" I reassured, whispering.
She sighed and sat on the empty space on the couch next to me "It's ok, I just over-reacted" She said, smiling at me.
"Are you sure? I want to make it up to you"
"Well, if you really want to...Make me some pancakes" She said, pulling me up from the couch and pushing me to the kitchen.
"Ok, ok I can walk myself too you know" I said, giggling. I took out all the ingredients and utensils while Yasmin just watched me, sitting at the small dining table.
When I finished, I slipped it on to a plate pouring lots of syrup on it, just the way she likes it. "Thank you" She said, digging in straight away. "Mmmmm tastes so good" She said, being really dramatic by closing her eyes and chewing slowly. I giggled and sat down next to her after cleaning up the mess. "Don't you want any?" She asked. I shook my head and smiled. "Aria, you're skinnier than you were before you left. Are you ok?" She asked, her voice full of concern.
"I'm good, I guess I just didn't like the food much there" I said, shrugging.
"No, even when you started living here, you barely ever ate. Don't say it's a diet because you probably ate like two bites of food a day" She said. She got up, putting her plate into the sink and took out some ingredients.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Cooking"
"I can see that too" I said giggling "But I thought we were going to order pizza tonight" I said, pouting.
"Psht, like you're going to eat any, I'm cooking for you, and without any crying or complaining I want you to eat it"
"But-"
"No"
"Bu-"
"No"
"I-"
"No"
I sighed "Fine"
"Good" She said smiling widely. I sat there watching her cook slightly unfocused though because I kept losing myself in my thoughts. Was she actually ok with it? I mean, first she snaps at me then she says it's ok? I'm so stupid for telling her, it's not like something major happened. I sighed and got up. Yasmin gave me a questioning look. "Just going to unpack" I told her.
