Laughs,
Smiles
Turned to tears,
Frowns,
Screams.
You were so careful,
So mature.
You knew my mistakes,
My insecurities.
You throw them around now,
Like sand,
Like nothing.
Is that what I am?
What are you then?
You aren't who you used to be.
I can barely recognize you now.
Where'd my little man go?
My happy man?
My reckless man?
My intricate man?
And...
Who are you?
Who are you to replace him?
"Change back!" I scream.
Change is inevitable.
Change is constant.
Change is beautiful.
Said no one ever.
Who are you?
I just want everything back how it was.
When everyone was happy,
Hearts weren't broken,
And you loved me.
You cared about me.
Where is he at?
I suppose you wouldn't know.
You just took his place.
I want him back.
Get out of my home,
Stay away from my heart,
Stay away from MY son.
I don't know you.
So leave.
And let everyone else ask
"Who are you?"
They don't know either.
No one does.
