(Sugawara's POV)

Kageyama... H-he's talking to nothing? I listen carefully to what he is saying.

"Shut up, idiot. Let's practice." Kageyama sighs.

Silence.

Kageyama grabs a volleyball from the floor then speaks again. "You ready Hinata?"

Silence.

I couldn't watch it. Kageyama has finally... lost it. I snap out of my gaze and look at everyone else. Their eyes fixed on Kageyama, scared and worried.

I look back at Kageyama to see him smirk and throw the ball into the air. He tosses it perfectly to his right, only to see it fall to the floor.

"Oi! Hinata! What was that?" Kageyama yelled.

Silence.

"I'll give you one last try, just trust me." Kageyama sighs angrily.

He throws another ball into the air and tosses it to his right once more. It falls to the floor. Nothing.

"You finally did it you idiot." Kageyama smirks.

What? No one.. hit.. the ball...

Silence.

Kageyama moves his hand to midair, seems like he was giving a hi-five... to nothing...

(Kageyama's POV)

I hi-fived Hinata.

Smiling, I look back at everyone.

"Oi!! What are you guys doing? It's not the first time Hinata and I did this, so don't be so shocked." I yell. I look back at Hinata and he gives me a big smile. My heart melted from that beaming grin. How I missed his cheerfulness.

Turning back around, I see Daichi walk towards me, everyone still staring at me.

I look at him, confused on why he was wearing such a sad face. Then I notice, everyone has a sullen look on their face.

"Everyone...?" I mutter. The captain is right in front of me, his eyes full of sadness.

Sad? Why? Why would everyone be sad? I mean, Hinata isn't dead or anything... He's right next to me.

I turn around to look at Hinata. He wasn't there. Hinata just disappeared. My eyes widen and the world turns dark again.

Again. Again.

Captain puts his hand on my shoulder, his eyes about to tear up.

Why? I don't know why. Or do I? I know. I know why. I don't want to believe it. I don't want to believe that Hinata is gone... He isn't. Hinata isn't gone. He's here... H-he was here.

My vision blurs up with tears. Before I couldn't see anything, I see Sugawara-senpai look at me worried. My teammates crowd around me as I was in a miserable state.

Don't look at me... I don't need people. I don't need company from you guys. I just need company from...

Hinata.

The world is too dark, I can't accept it.
