Years Later

Chapter 6

Killian's POV

The next morning I woke up with a missed call from Emma. When I listened to it and she sounded upset. I decided to call her back.

Phone Call

Emma: Hello?

Killian: Emma hey are you alright.

Emma: Yeah I am.

Killian: You sounded alittle upset when you called me.

Emma: Yeah I was just having a bad day.

Killian: Oh. Well Im sorry I couldnt talk to you last night I had a long day.

Emma: Yeah I figured. Im sorry to have called you.

Killian: No its okay really. Hey what if I come to town and we can talk.

Emma: Oh I dont want to take you away from your life.

Killian: No really Love its okay. I'll see you soon.

End of Phone Call.

Emma's POV

Killian hung up on me and now I feel so stupid for calling him. I mean I love Killian... As a friend, but he doesnt have to leave his life for me.

"Emma! Emma Swan!" Regina yells.

Oh crap shes pissed.

"Emma! Answer her!" Robin yells.

"Im in here." I say.

"What the hell dude!" She says.

"How did you know already that Killian was coming back just to talk to me. We just hung up the phone." I tell her.

"Killian who said anything about Killian. I was talking about how you didnt text me back. Wait Killian is coming back! Are you stupid!" Regina yells.

"Okay okay. We can talk about this Killian thing in a few. Regina dear tell Emma why you were trying to get ahold of her." Robin says.

"Oh that. The Skank is back." Regina says.

"Regina you call so many people that. Which one is it?" I ask her.

"My sister." She says.

"Okay why is that bad I thought you two were close." I say.

"Oh so your not mad that a year later after Killian left and you dated Graham and she stole him from you." She says.

"That was years ago." I say.

"Well okay then just so you know she just had his baby and they have tons of money." She tells me.

"Good for them." I say.

"Emma, look you should have been with Graham in high school when he asked you out to a movie the first month of high school and you life wouldnt have been so everywhere." She says.

"Regina I thought you knew the story." Robin says.

"Yeah yeah yeah. Emma tells it every time shes drunk." Regina says.

Emma's Storytelling/ Flashback.

Freshman year had just started. Like a month into the school year.

"Emma! Emma!" Graham yells at me.

"Hey." I say shyly.

"I was thinking that you and I go out sometime?" He asks.

"Im not sure Graham." I tell him.

"Have a crush on someone else?" He jokes.

"Yeah." I say nervously.

"Oh okay." He says walking away.

"Emma he is the cutest boy in school and he likes you why didnt you go with me?" Regina asks.

"Look I like someone else." I tell her.

"Who? Robin? August? Walsh? Neal?" She asks.

"Actually non of those ones. I kinda like him." I say pointing at a boy all by himself at his locker.

"Okay Emma that guy is a loser. You cant like him." Regina says.

"I can like who I like. Im thinking about asking him to the home coming dance." I tell her.

"Okay your insane." She tells me.

I didnt hear anything she was saying and I walked over to the guy.

"Hi Im Emma Swan, we have English, Science, Math, and History together." I tell him.

"Yeah I know. Why are you talking to me? Arnt you like popular?" He asks.

"Me popular no way. My friend Regina is not me. I mean look at me glass and hair is always in a ponytail." I tell him.

"Well I think you absolutely beautiful." He says.

"Thanks... Killian right?" I question.

"You know my name?" He asks surprised.

"Yeah, I was actually coming over here to ask you to the home coming dance." I say to him.

"Sure I'll go with you." He says.

"Cool." I say and kiss his cheek.

The bell rang and Killian just looked at me and held out his arm.

"We do have class together. Let me escort you." He says.

"Thanks." I say and take his arm.

End of FlashBack/Storytelling.

"Then in that moment I know Killian was my other half." I say to them.

"Fucking A Emma I cant believe you told that story." Regina whines.

"I actually just cant believe Regina thought you had a crush on me. When we all know very well she loved me throughout all the years of high school." Robin says.

"I did not. I started to be into you in college." She says and walks out.

"Such a liar." Robin says following her out.

God I miss the old days when Killian and I were like that. No Emma stop! Killian has moved on so have you!
