I was already starting to regret accepting Connor's deal. He was just a heartbreaker, a player, he was the kind of guy girl don't want in their lives. He kept reminding memories that I never wanted to live, why was he so sure that I would fall for him. He had one year to try and I had one year to resist. I was almost asleep when someone knocked on my door. I sat on my bed, trying to forget how much my head hurt.

"Remind me to not take more than two drinks."

I got up and walked like a zombie to go open the door. I blinked a few times to make sure that I wasn't hallucinating.

"Adrian?"

He looked at me with a shy smile.

"I wanted to make sure that you were ok, you passed out in Brice's room."

I was surprised that he actually cared knowing that as soon as we got there everyone else forgot that I was there.

"I feel horrible but i'm ok."

I looked in his brown eyes. His hair were perfect, like always. He took something out of his pocket and gave it to me.

"Advil's..."

He ran a hand through his hair, his cheeks started to turn red. I smiled at him hoping I didn't look like a dead animal.

"Thanks..."

He smiled back at me and walked away, his hands in his pockets. I closed the door behind me and walked in the bathroom's direction. I took a glass of water and walked back in my room. Sitting on my bed I tried to open the Advil's container but it was brand new. Why did he bought Advil just for me, I cracked a smile and tried to open it again. I wasn't strong enough, I got up and knocked on Connor's door. When he saw me standing in front of me he smiled.

"I win?"

I gave him the Advil container, his smile fade away as he tried opening the Advil's. He gave me the lid in one hand and the container in the other.

"Do you love me now?"

Without answering I walked back in my room to take a much needed nap. When I finally took the pills I was about to go back to sleep when my phone light up. I took it to see who texted me, a slight smile draw my lips when I saw Adrian's name on the screen.

Adrian: Get better soon.

The smile on my face wouldn't go away, I told him I was already getting better because of him.

"You look like a zombie Lauren."

I looked over at Riley who was sitting on her carpet.

"Because you look better maybe?"

I heard Talya laughing behind me, I high fived her and looked over at Riley.

"So what did you wanted to tell us that was so important."

"Well I kind of like Brice."

Talya got closer to us.

"Can you at least say something we don't already know."

Riley's eyes widen.

"W-what! You knew?"

We both shook our head up and down, Riley was always the super sensitive one, she was always the one crying for a week because her boyfriend left her. Sometimes everyone knows that she likes someone before she knows it herself.

"I'm hungry."

I looked over at Talya. By saying that she was hungry made me realize that I was too. Riley looked at the both of us, dreaming about fries. The minute after we were making our way to McDonald. There was almost no one. I was the first one to order.
