So, romanticizing mental disorders.

🙃

If you do that.

I

Kind of

Hate

You.

It's just wrong. Mental disorders are not all "boo hoo, I wear black and I cry!" They're not all "I have a few scars on my wrists and that is all." They're not all "I'm constantly sad." They're not all "I have a loving bf/gf to comfort me when I'm crying." They're not all "I wish I was skinnier ): I think I'm going to not eat but still look stunning."

THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS!!!!

I also hate when people say: "I wish I had schizophrenia/DID/BPD/bipolar disorder for a week, just to see how it feels."

IT FEELS SO FUCKING HORRIBLE.

I also hate it when people say: "I wish I had depression/an eating disorder so that prince/princess charming would come to my rescue and love me."

DO YOU THINK THAT WE *POOF* GET DATES FOR HAVING DISORDERS?!!? Well, we DON'T.

Most of my life has been spent being avoided and called a freak and called crazy and being pitied and stared at and whispered about and being taken advantage of and people thinking I'm worthless or useless or that I can't do anything and it's just so horrible.

So, yeah. I don't even know.

That's all.
