You're Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum's girlfriend and when the city is attacked you're sent by the King...
"I can't believe we have to fight a freaking Bahemoth." You moaned as the five of you walked along the country land looking for tracks or some form of lead to tell you where this behemoth's lair is. You'd been roaming the duscaean (?) countryside for days now and you still hasn't managed to raise enough money to pay for the car repairs so, You decided to take on the job of killing Deadeye the Behemoth and taking its horns. Great.
"Aw come on (Y/n)! Look at the bright side!" Prompto jumped over to you and put an arm around your shoulder before receiving a death glare from Noctis, which the blonde didn't notice at all, so you assured your incredibly over-protective boyfriend that it was fine with a smile and a little wave before turning your attention back to the hyperactive boy next to you.
"What bright side?" You huffed out in response.
"Well... When we beat it we'll get our car back! No more dangerous animal encounters for a while at least! Come on be positive!"
How is he always so cheerful? What is this sorcery?!
"As much as I would like to Prompto, I can't seem to get rid of the ever growing feeling that our demise is rapidly approaching."
"It can't be that bad (Y/n)! Hey, Noct! Help me out with this will ya?"
The raven haired man in question turned his head to look at you both and saw your expression and he obviously found it amusing as his eyes glinted slightly. However, being the nice person he was, Noctis decided to try and end your suffering by giving you a different type of suffering altogether. A practical joke.
"(Y/n)! Your back! There's a huge spider on it!"
Fear ran through your entire body and you shuddered at what Noctis just said. Prompto almost threw himself away from you and you started panicking and jumping around, flailing in hopes to get the non existent arachnid off of you. "GET IT OFF ME! GET IT OFF ME!!" You yelled repeatedly. Everyone knew you had arachnophobia and it seemed as though your dark haired other half wanted to get his own back on you for tripping him up earlier.
In a last ditch effort to get it off of you, you stripped off your jacket and threw it in a direction and with luck it landed right by Ignis who picked it up chuckling slightly. "Well done highness, I do believe that you just successfully pulled a prank." He said walking over to you and handing you your jacket. You took the jacket and thanked him before putting it back on and stiffly turning your head to look at said Prince.
"Is.that.so?..." You said, your eye twitching. Through all the commotion you'd managed to decrease the distance you two had had between you which was great for you as it made him an easier target for revenge. He clearly saw your intent as he smirked and ran off with you running after him. "Noctis Lucis Caelum! Get your Royal ass back here!" He was clearly being playful, for once in his life, and slowed down to a slow jog which allowed you to catch up to him. You leapt onto his back, wrapping your legs and arms around him as he held your legs to keep you on him.
Laughter could be heard from all angles until you all felt the ground shake and a low grumble come from your left. Noctis let you down and everyone halted, eyes widening at the huge creature approaching you. You split up into two groups to hide from the behemoth; Prompto, Ignis and Gladio hid behind a large rock that was closer to the beast and you and Noctis found a small cliff to crouch behind.

"That is a lot bigger than I thought it would be..." You whispered to your boyfriend who currently had his arm around your lower back, to keep you close to him, and you were clenching onto his jacket. He nodded his head in agreement to your statement, "Too right it is..." He murmured.
You looked over to where Ignis was and he gave you a signal that it was fine to come out as you two couldn't see past the edge of the cliff to the right. He beckoned you over with his hand. "Noct, lets go." You got up and ran over to the others. "Now what?" Prompto asked.
"Well.. It's probably just come out of its lair so, if we keep heading in the same direction then we should run into some tracks that'll lead us to where it lives." Gladio answered and you all agreed.
"If we're going to do this, we have to up our levels of caution and limit our mistakes to none, if possible." Ignis instructed.
"Well, what're we doing just standing around here for then? Let's get going already." Noctis perked up and started walking off without even a peep from anyone else. You all followed after him, keeping in toe with the dark haired Prince you finally put your game face on.
