The Strangest Date (yet)

~Your POV~

Rin called me over to her house for dinner and to wear "nice clothes". What? Why? Its not like I'm going on a date with her brother! Wait, am I?!

I put on a simple (f/c) shirt with a matching skirt, fixed my hair and wore simple (black/white) shoes. I thought that should do. I also took my bag, my phone, and pepper spray if Rinto came close to me again. "Kazuto, Yume, I'm leaving for tonight. Kazuto, you're in charge for tonight. Yume, listen to Kazuto, and please go to sleep early, no more staying up watching anime. Understand?"

"Yeah" Kazuto and Yume both groaned at me.

"Alright. Oh, there's also-"

"WE GET IT, YOU ACT LIKE MOM! GO TO YOUR FRIEND'S HOUSE, AND GOOD NIGHT!" Kazuto interrupted. Damn, he can overreact at times...

~At the Kagamine's (Rinto's POV)~

Rin kept saying (y/n) was coming over and I couldn't help but plan something for when she comes. I'll wear my Blue Moon outfit and pretend I'm Len, so she'll mistake us both and I would win (y/n)'s heart! I just need to- Wait, where's my Blue Moon outfit?!
"RIN?! WHERE IS MY BLUE MOON OUTFIT?! I'M SURE I LEFT IT IN MY CLOSET AFTER I MOVED IN!"

"RINTO, DO I LOOK LIKE YOUR MAID?! I MIGHT LOOK EVIL, BUT I AM SURE YOU ARE NOT THE SON OF EVIL!" I heard her reply back from downstairs. I think she took that song a bit too seriously.

I sighed and remembered I did take Len's clothes from his drawers and only left his yellow underwear. Maybe he took it? If so, way to go, past self!

I burst in Len's room only to find his original outfit in his bed with a towel next to it and a note.

'I guess this is MY revenge for taking all of my clothes! -L.'

GREAT! Why didn't I think this through?! That banana-loving, starfish-haired shota has gone too far.

"It. Is. On." I muttered.

~Rin's POV~

It's so quiet without the S̶h̶o̶t̶a̶s̶  boys fighting. Wait, QUIET?!

I rushed upstairs, I knew something was wrong. Halfway there, the doorbell rang and I shrieked as I remembered (y/n) was coming over. "COMING IN A SECOND!" I yelled over to the door and made my way upstairs. I was surprised when Rinto laid on the floor, knocked out with a bruise on his face and arm. I dragged him to the bathroom, then locked the door. "That should be better" I thought.

"LEN WHERE ARE YOU?!" I called him. He popped out of the other bathroom washing the blood off his lip and re-did his hair. "What happened to Rinto?"

"He took all the clothes out of my drawers and only left me my underwear, so I beat him up after I took his Blue Moon outfit."

"Nice job. Now go down to eat dinner, bro! I got a surprise for you, teehee!~" I giggled as I rushed downstairs to let (y/n) in.

"Sorry for letting you wait so long, I had to take care of something quickly" I told her as she came in. "No worries Rin! Just as long as you don't lie to me AGAIN!" She said before breaking into a small smile. I showed her to the dinner room and let her take a seat. I hope he doesn't take long I thought to myself.

~Your POV~

I couldn't help but let my jaw drop a little after what I saw coming down the stairs. I saw Len dressed in a really hot outfit. He wore black pants, a long-sleeved white shirt with a short black vest, a yellow tie, black fingerless gloves, and black shoes. His hair was also swept a little to the side. He looked perfect. But why was he dressed like that? Wait... Why is he blushing?!

"Rin what is going on?!" I blurted out.

Len just made a 'I don't have a clue' face and took Rin by the arm to a room to ask her what had happened.

"I told you it was a surprise, silly!"

"And it was, Rin!"

"So? I know you have been crush-"

"SHHHHHHH RIN THIS IS NOT THE TIME"

"But-"

"Rin, Ok, we will have dinner together, just don't ruin it"

Wait, so he is crushing on me? Is that why she asked me to come over for dinner? IS THAT WHY THERE ARE ONLY TWO CHAIRS?!

"Hey, (y/n), came looking for me?" Rinto said as he appeared behind me, so I quickly took the pepper spray to his eyes.

"AHH! WHY DO YOU DO THIS?! I THOUGHT I LOVED YOU!~" He screamed in agony. Rin finished her chat with Len, dragged Rinto back to the bathroom upstairs and locked it again.

~Time Skip (Len's POV)~

We spent the last hour talking, eating a really good spaghetti that Rin made, and laughing at Rinto dying in the bathroom. Until I got curious and asked her.

"By any chance, did you hear what me and Rin talked about? If so-"

I was cut off by what she said in reply.

"I did, and I really love you, Len. I sort of know you feel the same way. If this is all a big misunderstanding, please allow me to never speak to any of you all again"

I processed what she said and it took me a minute to reply.

"Daisuki" I said gently, and we both blushed before kissing. The kiss was soft and really sweet, and I knew I didn't want this to end. Well, until Rinto managed to come out of the bathroom wrapped in toilet paper like a maniac. He screamed out of rage and (y/n) took out her bottle of pepper spray and attacked Rinto, until he crawled back to his secret hiding room, the bathroom.

I must admit, this might have been the best night of my life. Kind of.

((Hey, Author-chan here! My writer's block ended and decided to update the story while I could, hehe! This is kind of the longest chapter yet, and the story doesn't end here! And Rinto "living" in a bathroom is kind of an inside joke, thus why Rin drags him there and why most of his appearances are there. Yes, his cousins-and Lenka- are aware of him living there.
