We walked the rest of the night and all the next day. That night around a small fire we ended up talking a little about each of our pasts before we went to sleep that night. We got up early the next morning and headed to the city.
We got to Gillian while the star Alastar was high in the sky and it was a sight to behold. The city was about the same size as Dragar but that was the end of the similarities. While Dragar was set up with the entire city encased within four sets of walls. Gillian was set up to encompass an area that was next to a large river and only had a wall surrounding the inner most area of the city. The buildings were made of a large assortment of materials and were in several shapes and sizes with no type of pattern to them.
Hinata guided us through the streets till we got to the wall that looked to be built more for looks than for protection. When we got to the wall we had to go around it till we got to the open gate. We went through the gate and this side of the wall had the apparent look of the upper class to it. She led us through more streets until we got to a large shop with the sign Garradens Weapons Shop above the door.
We went into the shop and looked around. There were all matters of weapons on the walls, shelves and in barrels. Some were priced at a low amount while some of the best were worth as much as a house. The shop was larger than most I've seen and was pretty busy with some people getting opinions on how to care for their weapons while others were bartering for lower prices. There also appeared to be a door that led to a backroom.
There was a large ruckus on the other side of the shop so we turned around and walked closer to see what was going on. There stood a group of men on one side of the counter and on the other side was a lady who was looking a little scared.
"What do you mean you can't sell me that sword? This is a weapon shop isn't it," shouted the man in front of the group.
"Well yes sir. But," started the lady.
The man cut her off saying, "There are no buts. I am offering you a lot of gold for that sword so you will either give it to me and I give you the gold or I will notify the authorities that you people took my money and are refusing to give me the weapon agreed upon. So which is it?"
"But sir this weapon belongs to Lord Nores Finsware. We were just about to send word to him that it was ready for pick up," the lady told the man.
I lean closer to Hinata and say, "Isn't that your father's name."
She just nods her head and walks toward the group with me following.
"Excuse me but I couldn't help but over hear your conversation and I think I can help," Hinata says to the man.
Both the group of men and the lady turned towards Hinata and the man says, "How does a little wench like you think they can help me."
"You will show her more respect or you will answer to me," I growl at him.
He takes a step back upon seeing me and then says, "You have some balls kid if you think you can talk like that to me. I am Lord Charles Littigan of the city of Leoin. So unless you want to find yourself locked in the dungeon I suggest you mind your own business." He finishes this with a smug smile.
"Now I know for a fact that you are nothing more than a bold faced liar," I tell him.
The man stutters out, "What do you mean I am a liar?"
"I personally know Lord Littigan and he is a far cry from the selfish, spoiled, dishonorable, and no good thief that you are portraying. Did you know that impersonating a noble is classified as treason and is punishable by death," I say.
