The batflyer enters the cave and when Batman gets out of it, he limps straight to the computer, his suit still singing from the explosion. When Superman notices the charred pieces and chunks missing from his suit he asked.
"What happened to you?"
"I was right with my assumption that Abstergo has something to do with this," Batman replies.
"What did you find out, father?" Damien asked.
"Nothing yet, but I retrieved this," Batman said as he plugged in a flash drive into the computer.
Loads of data appears on the screen. Files on a machine called the Animus comes up along with a picture of a hooded man. Batman then turns around.
"Where is he?" Batman asked.
"In a holding cell in the lower part of the cave," Damien replied.
He walked over to the holding cell and confirmed that the sleeping man in the cell was the man in the picture.
"Wake up!" Batman yelled.
"You should be more considerate," the man said in a thick French accent. "You should never deprive a man of his sleep."
"You're lucky I didn't put you to sleep forever after what you've done to my team," Batman said coldly.
"Oh please," the man scoffed. "I know that even if you wanted too Mr. Wayne," he walked over to the bars. "It is not your way."
"Who are you!" Batman yelled as he grabbed the man through the bars. "What are you doing in Gotham!"
"I have to admit that I underestimated you're son over there," the man said, avoiding the question. "I know that the girl is trained too, but we were both lucky."
"How were we lucky?" Heather asked as she walked down.
"That when I threw the blade it didn't kill you," he responded.
"Thanks for the concern," Damien replied sassily.
"Killing you isn't what I wanted to do," responded the man. "It's not my mission. If it was...then...well it would be more difficult then this one."
"Enough games!" Batman yelled. "What are you doing in Gotham!"
"I only discuss my mission with my master,"
"Then bring me to him," Batman responded.
"I will never give up my brothers," the assassin responded. "I would rather die."
"Like your buddy down at Abstergo?" Batman asked.
"What are you talking about? I'm the only one on this mission."
Batman then snatches the man's belt buckle. When the man tried to snatch it back Batman pulled the man into the bars rendering him unconscious once more. Batman walks to the computer and scans the belt buckle.
"What is it?" Superman asked.
"Some sort of symbol...a crest of some kind." Batman responded. "I'm tracing it now to find its origin."
A couple minutes later they hear a beeping noise from the computer telling them the scanning was done.
"What is it?" Superman asked.
"The main symbol of a league of Assassins called with no real name other than the Creed," replied Batman. "There's information here about a guy called Desmond Miles, an ancestor to a long line assassins."
