Batman, Robin, and Batgirl sneakily find their away across the compound of the League of Shadows. Batman felt a chill go down his spine because there was no one in sight. The main tower of the compound comes into sight and as they make their way towards the stairs leading into the tower, they are met with a severed head rolling down the stairs.

"I'm assuming that he was the man you came to see," the Vice President of Abstergo, Fredrick McGovern said as Batman picked up the severed head of Ra's Al Ghul. "The old man kept telling me that you would show up and take me down."

"You're going down McGovern!" Batman yelled.

"He was foolish," McGovern said. "So was his daughter." He threw the lifeless body down the stairs as well, but she still had her head.

When Robin saw the body of his dead mother he went into a rage and charged at the man. When the man saw the young boy charge at him he put on these gloves that used some sort of future tech.

"Robin, NO!" Batman yelled after his son.

Robin drew his sword and was running furiously at the man, but the man, who was wearing the gloves lifted up his hand and Robin was levitating in the air. The man the. Threw Robin hard down the stairs.

"Robin!" Batman yelled as he threw a batarang at the man.

The man simply used the telekinetic gloves to block the oncoming ninja star and walked inside.

"I'm ok," Robin muttered as he held his side.

Once Batman heard that he ran inside to try to apprehend Fredrick. As soon as he ran threw the door it closed behind him. The room became dark and when the now President of Abstergo spoke, it sounded like it was coming from all around him.

"I'm surprised that you didn't outside me sooner," McGovern said. "My company hasn't exactly been quiet."

"Show yourself!"

"It wasn't loud enough to catch the attention of the FBI or anything like that, but to the Dark Knight must have heard the activity."

Batman stopped dead in his tracks as the floor that wasn't that far ahead of him opened up revealing a giant, green, glowing pool. The man then stepped into the light, standing across from Batman at the other end of the pool.

"My brothers and I have been planning this for a long time," McGovern said as a secret door opened up.

Doomsday than runs out of the cage and when Batman was getting ready to dodge the attack, Doomsday was thrown to its back due to a chain wrapped around its next.

"That's your plan?" Batman asked with fear in his voice. "To release Doomsday into the world?"

"We considered it," McGovern replied. "But the monster's actions are too unpredictable."

"So what's his roll in your plan?" Batman asked.

Fredrick McGovern walked over to the monster and grabbed both parts of his mouth. With the help of the gloves the man was able to rip the monster's head in half and was able to drain the monster's power and make it accessible to him. Batman's eyes widened with fear as he saw what power those gloves possessed.

"I see that you are scared Batman," he said with mocking tone. "But wait until you see my next part of my plan."

The ceiling opened up and Batman saw a body being lowered on a chain. Batman used the binoculars in his helmet to zoom in on the body and almost fell to the ground when he saw whose body it was.

"Judging by your reaction I assume that you knew him," the man laughed.

"Please don't!" Batman yelled feeling utterly hopeless. "Once you open that door there is no closing it."

The President of Abstergo just laughed as the body fell into the Lazarus pit. Batman tried to run into the pit to try to stop the body from entering the pit, but the man just used to the gloves to throw the Dark Knight across the room. Batman then watched hopelessly as he waited for the body to emerge from the Lazarus pit.

The room was silent with the exception from the heavy breathing coming from the Caped Crusader. Then...the body jumps up from underneath the water and let's out his iconic laugh.

The Joker starts laughing maniacally as he looks around the room and sees the horrified look on Batman's face.

"I could see why the other bird boy went crazy. This hurts!" The Joker whined. "My, my what is this? Is this my welcome home party?" He laughed menacingly.

Batman then felt a rage overwhelm him and started to charge at the Joker. Fredrick the used the gloves to levitate him in the air.

"I know that this is going to come back and bite me in the ass, but I'm gonna let you go," Fredrick said. "I love a good fight, so go tell your friends and warn them of my power."

Fredrick used the gloves to spawn a portal, and he threw the Joker into it, closing it behind him.

"Why!" Batman yelled. "Do you know what you've just done?!"

"I know exactly what I've done," McGovern replied as he force pushed the Dark Knight through the door. Fredrick then opened another portal and stepped into it himself.

Batman flies out the door and tumbles long and hard down the long staircases.

   "Batman!" Yelled Nightwing.

   "He's a madman," Batman gasped.

"What happened in there?" Batgirl asked.

"He has these gloves," Batman replied as he got to his feet. "Gave him the power to kill Doomsday and absorb his power...and..."

   "And what?" Robin said.

"He...brought back the Joker by throwing him into the Lazarus pit."

   Heather's eyes widened with fear.

"Wha...where is he!" Batgirl said as she almost passed out.

"McGovern threw him into a portal. Most likely to throw us off of his tracks so he can do what he needs to do."

Batman then picks up Tahlia Al Ghul and carries her into the Lazarus pit. Her eyes open and she lets out a painful scream. Batman holds her tight in his arms. Tahlia takes off his mask and smiles as she caressed his face.

   "What's the plan?" She asked.

"To call for help." Batman said with his voice cold and hard.
