Back in West Valley

Coles POV
2 weeks later..

I couldn't wait to be back in West Valley the stakes were high I needed to get what I've been waiting to tell her off my chest. This wasn't a teenage love affair anymore, we're grown now.

Strolling out to the gates all 25 of us, we were finally heading home. Thank God, I enjoyed the training here but some things aren't worth staying for.
Filling into cars the soldiers left the base leaving behind Kyle, Daniel and Jerald and I . Pulling my phone out looking at the time it was just 3:15 and my elder brother wasn't here yet, being that I was off to military school I lent him my Honda, God knows I don't want that car back imagine the things that smut did in and over it.

"Hey, Cole you got a ride man?"
Looking over my shoulder I looked at Daniel in his army uniform and his heavy duffel bag.
"Well Jeremy's suppose to be picking me up but I'm not sure, who's coming for you?"
"My mom's suppose to be coming but if she takes too long I might have to call Chelsea to pick me up"

Hearing her name made me anxious, I can't wait to see her.
Dialing Jeremy again for the fifth time today, I got his voicemail. Dang, talk about a busy cell.

"He won't pick up."
Shifting the duffel bag to my other shoulder a white tundra van pulled up next to our feet.
"Hey, Cole and Daniel my babies."
"Mom, I'm still on base can't u wait until we get home or even through the gate at least."
I grinned to myself, Daniel, Daniel always being the tough guy that he is.
"Oh, hey Mrs. Rowe whats up?"
"Nun, really I was planning on carrying Daniel to a little welcome home thingy at Mr. Flatz but im not sure and besides welcomes are in order for u too, you wanna come?"
"I'm actually waiting on my brother" looking on my iphone and seeing that it might be helpless to decline a ride that's heading near to the family house I decided to screw over Jeremy, If he wanted to be here he'd remember his little brother.
"Ah, you know what Mrs. Rowe I'd love to."
Boarding the van I hopped on in the trunk along with Daniel.
Making a u turn she sped off honking the security guards at the base and headed west to West Valley, our home town.

"So, what you planning on doing when you get back over to your house?"
"I plan on kicking Jeremy's ass for pulling a fast one on me." I joked,
"Nah man you know what I mean you hadn't been able to get laid for almost 3 years now what you plan on doing about that?"
"I don't know"
"Wow West Valley High's former player don't have anything planned out for his arrival back in his palace." Daniel rubbed his chin.
"OK, fine I plan on talking to your sister."
Wide eyed Daniel looked over the side of his mom's van he leaned in
" are you crazy, you know she's got a man now and you want her?" He hissed his teeth " you just don't give up do you?"
" I made a mistake and I need her to understand I didn't mean it, it just happened OK"
"Uh huh,hooking up with her best friend was a mistake. Look she's my sister and your my best friend but, you just have to let her go, cause if I were her I wouldn't want to talk or see you again and you know I draw a line when it comes to my family"
"Yea, if? You aren't her and never will be so I guess you can't truly say she won't wanna see me"
"Hey, boy's I just got a call from Mr. Flats the bakery owner and they're keeping a welcome home party after all you boys and also for Jeff, by the way where is Jeff?"
Looking at Daniel my heart sank, I guess not everyone knows about Jeff.
"I'm sorry but Mrs Rowe, Jeff died a year ago back at base , while we were on a mission he jumped out of the airplane and his parachute got hitched"
"Let's just finish it with a simple he died, she can't know all those gruesome things that happened after that plane." Looking over his shoulder he told his mom that Jeff died and then to keep the happy mood he told her about the happy and exciting moments.

Entering the bakery, Mr flats ushered us aside telling us that he and some of the people of West Valley, weren't quite ready for us. The party had been changed from 4 to 8 tonight. Looking at my watch it was just three- thirty.
Mrs Rowe pulled out of the mini driveway of the plaza.
"Cole, where's your mom and dad I haven't seen them in town for a while"
"Oh they're out for a reunion back in Brooklyn for a month."
"Oh OK, so who are you staying with then, because your brother kinda uses your house for his hoes now. I call it the " whore house'."

Wide eyed the saddest thing wasn't the fact that my brother had girls in our family house, nah that was the least but it was that of Mrs Rowe knowing these stuff.
" I'm not sure what I'm going to do because I really don't wanna go over there and be unexpected and worst uninvited from that house."
"Wow, dude you got probs" Daniel punched my arm.
" you could stay with us until you rent somewhere or until your brother gets his ass together. After all I been hearing through the vine you guys get paid "
Laughing Daniel whispered something dirty to me and I almost knocked him out but he swerved. It was about being able to see Chels and to get the thong out my ass. Looking at the facts I realized he was right, I guess I wanna stay over there and her thong on the floor.
"Thanks Mrs Rowe but I'm not gonna be renting, I'll be buying a house near from Asmara"
"Any time Cole. Oh that's kinda near where Chelsea lives"
"We could be bros, chasing the hoes " Daniel went into a rapping session with himself. For a solider he wasn't all that much as a fun killer.
"I got one girl on my mind and she's my Queen"
"But you ain't her king" he scuffed
Hitting him he didn't even budge.
"Does it matter?"
