"Are you okay?" a voice asked me.
The voice sounded male. I let him help me up.
"Yeah, I guess," I said. "But I lost my contacts and I can't see!"
"Do you need help getting anywhere?" the voice asked kindly.
"Yes please," I said gratefully.
"What's your flight?"
"Norway."
"That's the same flight as me!"
"Cool!"
We started walking there. Before long, I got a tap indicating I was there.
"Time to board the plane," the guy said.
I grabbed his hand, since all I could see was a blur.
He lead me down towards the plane, and it seemed like we were walking forever, until he told me to sit down. I sat down, and I could hear him sit next to me.
"Can you please get my glasses out of my bag?" I asked him politely.
"Sure," he said.
I could hear him rummage through my bag, and then I felt the glasses case slip into my hands.
"Thanks," I said.
I opened the case and put the glasses on. My vision became clear again, and I could see the guy who helped me out in detail. He had dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
"I can see so much better!" I said. "Thanks for helping me out."
"No problem," the guy said. "By the way, what's your name?"
"Krystal," I replied.
"Nice to meet you," he said. "I'm Hayden."
Then, the flight attendant got on the loud speaker. She was talking so fast and her voice was so muffled, I couldn't understand a word she was saying. It was complete gibberish. When she was done, I said to Hayden, "What the heck did she say?"
"Something about buckling your seat-belts and turning off electronic devices," he responded.
"Okay," I said.
An awkward silence followed. The airplane started taking off, and before we knew it we were in the air.
After a few minutes of being in the air, a flight attendant came over to us.
"Would you like to watch a movie?" she asked us. "We offer them on long flights."
Hayden turned to me. "Do you?"
"Why not?" I said.
I looked at the lady. "Yes, we would like to watch a movie."
"Alright," she said. She pressed a button and a screen came down to face us. She turned it on, and a list of movies popped up.
"Just pick the one you want to watch," she explained.
Hayden smiled. "Thanks."
"You're welcome. Hope you enjoy your flight!" the flight attendant said to us.
Then she walked away to help another person.
"So, what movie do you want to watch?" I asked Hayden.
"I don't know," he said. "Let's look through the list of movies."
There were a fair amount of movies, mostly newer ones. But none of them interested me. Hayden stopped scrolling the movies and asked my opinion about the movie he stopped on. It was 'The Hunger Games'.
