Krystal's POV

"So tell me, Steve, how did you get here?"

He tapped Hayden's laptop, which was on the ground. "I pretty much live in there."

"Pretty much?"

"Well, I roam Minecraft, make sure everything is under control, Steve responsibilities," Steve said. "So where is Hayden?"

"You want to know why I was about to drink that potion?" I asked him. "Because I wanted to go and save Hayden. He's in the place you call Dimension Four, and for all I know a virus could be taking over him."

Taking over... possession. One of Hayden's worst fears. Now I really wished I was abducted instead of him.

"It's a good thing I stopped you when I did, then," Steve said. "You would've had no way of getting out of that place. Only experienced Minecraftians can do that."

"I'm experienced," I said. "I'm sure everyone here is. Plus, Hayden's half Minecraftian, so shouldn't he be out of Dimension Four by now?"

"Sorry," Steve said. "That came out wrong. What I meant to say was that only people that are experienced with in-game world jumping can do it."

He saw the confused expression on my face and said, "That's how I get around. I understand if you've never heard of it. Only I know how to."

I slowly nodded, taking everything in. "Why are you here?"

"I called for an emergency meeting on the laptop, since Paige disappeared this morning," Steve said. "But Hayden didn't answer, and that's too unlike him. So he either was ignoring me or there was something wrong. Really wrong. So I had to come out and see for myself."

"Good call," I said. "Because we need your help. Two thirds of the BSM kids have been abducted by the viruses and we need to find a way to get them back."

"That must mean... the army is almost complete!" Steve said, a look of horror on his face. "Oh no..."

"Army? What?" I was really
confused.

"The virus king is creating an army out of humans," Steve said. "And the viruses take over the human bodies so the army is virus controlled. And if the virus king gets a human..." Steve shuddered. "That's bad. Really bad. They will take over the world as we know it!"

"What?!" I said, shocked. "Then that must mean... they could be planning their attack on us as we speak!"

"Krystal..." I heard a voice say tiredly. I totally forgot that Lexus was waiting outside! I opened the door and he collapsed in my room. He was a mess, his face all red and his eyes swollen.

"K-Krystal..." he said shakily. Had he been crying? "D-did you drink it?"

I shook my head, and he ran over to me and hugged me. Then he started crying.

"I-I'm sorry..." he said between sobs. "I just didn't want to lose another good friend..."

I immediately felt guilty after he said that. He lost Hayden, Shannon, and his other friends. Except me. I was probably the last friend that was with him in Sweden.

"Sorry," I said. "I was just feeling a little crazy."

"Oh, ya think?" Lexus said and choked out a laugh.

A tiny smile formed on my mouth and then at the corner of my eye I saw Steve awkwardly standing there.

"So..." Steve said.

"Sorry. I'm a mess, aren't I?" Lexus said, letting go.

"No, you're good," I replied. I turned to Steve. "What's the plan?"
