Homegrown,
I know where I belong.
Yeah, I've never seen the world,
I've never seen war,
I've never seen chaos,
I've never seen destruction.
But I have seen love,
I have seen compassion,
I have seen beauty,
and I have seen generosity.
So no, I have not seen the world,
at least not the broken world.
I choose to see the good in the bad,
and the bad in the good.
I hear what you paint,
and see what you say.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
