2 - Refuse

I followed Mr James into his office. It was full of computers and papers. I had to watch were I sat down my feet so I did not stumble on all the cables laying around.
"Seth, do you remember that test we took a few weeks ago?" Mr James asked.
That test.. That test we took. Well let me explain to you how it works. There are four ships every earths people are living in. One is much bigger than the other three ships and we call it The Mothership. Or also The Capital. The other three ships, Plantona, Helca, and Clasto, are all connected to The Capital. All ships together we call The Four United, yeah it is pretty lame.
People from Clasto, were I am from, nobody really cares about us. Nobody from The Capital really cares about Plantona and Helca either. For them we are basically just guinea pigs.
The life at the four ships are a bit different. Clasto has the worst. We have no money, and no money that means no food. And no food means we are not evolving. People here are 'useless' as the people from The Capital calls us.
People from Helca has a bit more money. They can buy enough food to survive on. That gives them a bit more attention from The Capital.
Plantona has also money. Just pretty much more than Helca.
Weeks ago every one from the four different ships had to take a test. The Capital were not so sure about having to take the test on people from Clasto, we are 'useless' after all. They did it anyway. I do not know why we took it but the people from the headquarters were really serious about it, so I guess it was kinda important.
Anyway, they took the tests and started calling out people. First from The Capital. Five people around my age I think. Then from Plantona. Another five people. Helca, five people. Clasto, four people.

Hello, Seth! You still sleeping? Mr James sounded pretty irritated by me not responding. But I understand him. I would.
I laughed inside. First time I agreed Mr James and hopefully the last.

"Uh, yes?" I responded, with a slightly curios voice.
"Of course you know that four people from Clasto has already gone. I just nodded. "Why are you telling me this?" Now I were pretty annoyed. If I do not attend my job at Helca I will for sure get fired.
Everyday I took the train to Helca, my job was to pack boxes. Sounds boring? Well then my friend I can tell you, it is worse than that. The money I got could I spend on one meal. Almost everyday.
"Keep quiet! I am talking." Said Mr James. "You are now going to be sent to The Capital and join the group of Clasto. "Why me?" I asked with a surprisingly calm voice. No I'm not calm I'm terrified inside, what are they going to do with me?! "You are gifted. You are more talented than normal people." Said Mr James. Ha, talented. I thought I was useless.
"I refuse to go!" I shouted at him. He looked so surprised at first then he looked a bit angry.
"You don't understand, this is a gift." His voice was still calm. It made me laugh inside. He was trying to stay calm so I will get stressed and then come with him. No, I was not letting him manipulate me!
"I'm leaving." I said. I stormed out the door to the hallway. Everyone from the training stood outside and looked at me with curious faces. I just ignored them and walked to the sleeping cells. Hell no, I'm not talking to that grumpy, old man again.

Sorry for short chapter! I felt like I had to publish something. And sorry for not publishing in a while, I have no excuse. Just a lazy person!
