3 - Brother And Sister

"Are you sure it is your brother?" Whispered a boy. He sounded to be around fourteen or fifteen.
"Yes, it must be!" Answered a voice belonging to a girl, probably around eleven or twelve years old. Wait. I knew that voice.
"Lilly?" I opened my eyes and stood up. "Seth!" The girl also stood up and looked at me. I could not believe it. Right in front of me stood my sister. My lost sister.
For five years ago, 2145, something happened to earth. Something everyone knew should happen. All earth resources were out. There were absolutely nothing left. Me and my family, and probably the rest of the world were taken to military bases. I were only eleven years old when it happend. My family were supposed to get up on a ship and get sent together to space with many other families. But something was in the way. The military told us to wait. I listened on the military talking in a walkie-talkie. The voice said "Sir, there is a problem!" I tried to find a new hiding place nearer him. "What problem?" Answered the man. "We need to leave, NOW!"
"Why, what is happening?!" I tried to listen really hard. "We don't know! Everything... " The walkie-talkie crackled. "Hello.. Hello!!" The man near me sounded very worried. The walkie-talkie started working again. "HELP! Save your selves!" The man looked up and made a wave to the other military that helped people on the ship. "We need to go!" A short pause. "NOW!"
Someone started talking in the speakers. "Everyone stay calm. All need to evacuate the area. I repeat, evacuate the area!"
Eventually no one kept calm, there was people running around, searching for their kids or/and other family members. I heard screams and all a sudden someone grabbed my arm and I turned around to see who. At first I thought it was my dad. No, I was wrong. There stood the man I heard talking. "Get on this ship!" He said. "It will save your life!" He continued. I did not want to leave my family. Never. "No!" I replied, but it was too late. The man had already pushed me up on the ship. The last thing I saw before leaving earth was my family getting killed.
"But how are you still alive, I saw you getting killed?" I asked. Bringing back that memory was really hard. I had pushed it away for years. I felt a tear running down my face. Lilly looked down. I survived, you probably saw mom. She looked at me and I saw that she was crying. It was now I realised that it was not Lilly who got shot, it was mom. "But dad, what happened to him?" It was hard to talk, my tears were every where in my face.
"I don't know, he saw a ship that was about to leave and threw me in." She made a short pause. "He saved my life."
We hugged for a long time. I was never going to leave her again. Never, you have my word on that.
"Why am I not in my bed? Where is all the others? Where am I?" I realised that I was not in the sleeping cells. The walls were painted in blue, not white. The bed I slept in was an actual bed. "You were transported." The boy asked. I had completely forgotten about him. It would have been pretty annoying for him, we did not even know he was still standing there.
"What?!" I replied. "When?"
"About an hour ago." He answered. "Why?" "You were chosen, remember?" He were still pretty annoyed, you could clearly tell that. "Yeah, but what are they going to do?" "Use us.. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm right." He answered. "We really don't know anything." He continued. Right after he ended his sentence the door opened. A man walked in. His body looked like it only contains of muscles, so would rather not pic a fight against him. I could tell by his clothes that he was from Plantona. He had a moss green west over a black t-shirt. On the west there was small silver buttons.
"Hello, I am Sr. Francs and I and Mr. James, as you by now already know, are going to prepare you for the big event comment up." He said with a loud and deep voice. "What big event?" The boy I did not know the name of replied. "Oh, you didn't know?" "As you all know there are four groups?" We nodded. "All of those groups are going to meet up and get presented to all of The Four United." "What's in it for us?" The boy asked. It was pretty stupid cause the second after Sr. Francs took him up with his shirt and pushed him into the wall. "Do you really want to do that?" He shouted in the boy's ear then he let his hand let go of the boy's shirt and watched as he fell down to the ground. "Let's go!" He shouted, clapped his hands and then left the room. Lilly three her self to the ground to help the boy. The boy coughed and tried to stand up again. "You ok?" I asked. "Yeah!" He replied. "I don't think I caught your name." I said, I meant it to be a question. "Gregory, just call me Greg." He answered. "I will, Greg. Nice to meet you!" We all looked at each other and walked out trying to find Sr. Francs.
