Part 2, Chapter 2: Depression

Dipper's POV 

I walked into Mabel's room and saw she was asleep. She had her sweater that said, "Pines Twin!" and sweatpants. I looked at her hair. It was shorter. I went into her bathroom and there was something written in dark red lipstick, "FILL MY HEART WITH EMPTINESS." There was a bloody razor. Pills in the toilet. I looked at her tired face. Dark circles under her eyes and dry tears. I picked her up into my arms and she lied there. I felt horrible about not talking to her. She woke up, "Dipper?" she said weakly. I got up and carried her to my room. I lied her on the bed and made some tea. We watched a Law and Order marathon together while it rained. "What type of tea is this Dip?" "Orange." "It tastes lovely!" she said in a dumb accent. She smiled. Her retainers flashed. "GO MAKE SOME COOKIES!" she yelled once she put her tea down. I went to the kitchen and looked outside. Wendy and her sister Crystal sat outside in the pouring rain, playing with a soccer ball. I got the cookies ready and threw them in the oven. I went outside and went next to Crystal, "Hey Dip!" I looked, "Haha. Hey." I flashed my geeky smile and put my hands in my pockets. I went back inside and Mabel was in the kitchen, "COOOOKIES!" she put the pan down and tackled me. I pushed her off, "Owwwwieeee!" she did a meow and ran off to my room. I forced a smile. Mabel seemed like her happy self. I felt weird. I made a fist and winced at the pain in my chest.

Mabel's POV 

I grabbed my boots on and put on mascara. I walked all the way to the diner and I saw Sheriff Blubs. He stood in the far corner, drinking his coffee. Robbie was kissing Tamry and Tamry was trying to stick her tounge out. Wendy and Crystal were eating cookies and Soos was with someone. Bill appeared, human form. I gasped and hid under a table, "Soos, you must come with me for the executions of Stan and those Mystery Twins." I crawled out and ran to the Mystery Shack. I went up to the attic and went into the closet. I went through the hole and watched as Bill and Soos grabbed Stan, "Stanford Pines. Where are those stupid kids?" "Look Bill, I really don't know." I felt a tear run down my cheek. Gideon appeared, "Stanford, that little princess of yours is mine now. I'm afraid we're going to have to kill you." I shot through the hole and right at Gideon. Bill grabbed me by my collar and I shot back, "STOP!"
