I grabbed my sweater, heading out to my car. "Great. It's covered in snow." I groaned. I grabbed my bike from the shed and rode out to Dipper's house. I knocked and waited. A strange blonde woman with a bong in her hand and dirty hair answered the door so I pushed her out of the way to find Dipper with a bong and tomato red eyes. "Hey Mabes." I grabbed him by the wrist and slammed him down on the floor, "Listen Dipper, mom and dad don't want you like this. I'm the only light you have for now." I threw him over my shoulder and spit on the blonde girl, "Whore." she mouthed. I grabbed Dipper's keys and threw him in his car, "Just wait, brother."

I went inside to find the girl writing in a notebook. I snatched it away from her and saw what it said:

I can't believe that girl. She thinks she can take my Dipping Sauce away from me and think i'm not going to say anything? Boo you wh

I grabbed her by the neck and whispered in her ear, "Listen to me. That's my brother and you have no control over him. Now I'd shut up before I snap your neck." She pushed herself out of my grip and cowered. I slammed the door and started the car. Dipper was passed out in the back seat and had the stench of weed. I soon arrived at my parents' house and brought Dipper inside.

I woke up in my own bed again. I looked around and saw Mabel with dark circles under her eyes and her skin white as paper. She was drooling and snoring. I smiled and got up. Ew, I smelled like a heavy bag of weed. I ran into the bathroom and started the shower. I looked in the mirror. I found a few hickeys leading down to my arm and a trickle of blood on my lip. I jumped in the shower, letting the beads of hot water hit my skin.

Days can go by without a single word from my sister. A single breath can slowly break us apart. Little did I know that after all this time that I left her to rot on her own she grew stronger. She found out how to fight her own battles without her older brother by her side.

All she needed was a booster, and it sure as hell wasn't me.
