MOCKERS AMONGST US

Sayings and quotes,
they all like
But sometimes what they say,
Isn't what they do.
Here I am,
expressing my views
on that cue
about what I feel is true.

Don't ppl say that failure leads to success
Then why,
those very ones make u drown,
when you try to move on.
Picking on the weaker man
Tall and giant-like they stand
Ragging is a crime,
is what I've believed and heard
But in practice,
its just absurd.

People say,
help others for you'll be blessed
Then why,
do they step back
in those dark times,
when there's no white and only black
That blessing turns to a curse
Your wounds and pains,
not to be healed by any nurse.
An ungrateful omen is what you become
only to be slapped with rejection
and
stamped with the name "dumb"

U must have heard frm people
"beware of the Creator"
Then why,
in the name of that same God,
those enlightened ones
strangulate the children of Lord
with the burden of labour
Killing their innocence by
engaging them in hazardous work.

The best one I heard from all,
"Honesty is the best policy"
Hah!!
What a comedy
Why you must ask
To that I question-
Why those preachers,
fond of bribery
talk about morals,
yet practice illegally.
And with that answer
I hope you understand
About this grave ordeal.

I fail to understand the people of world
Money, lure and leisure
Is all what they want
The ideals are different
Yet the same,
Irony and hypocrisy,
the favourite ones of all.
