Chapter 2

                *BRING!!!*

Finally, the bell rang! I hurriedly gathered my things, ran to my locker, opened, placed my things in, and slammed it shut.

“Ooh, someone’s in a hurry. Good luck in your date!” Talia teased for the nth time. “Again, it’s not a date. Need to go, bye!”

The walk to the park was kinda chilly, and I regret not bringing my jacket. The warmth inside Starbucks was really comforting.

“Hey Harmony!” I turned around and saw Daemon sitting on a table. Lucky for him, he’s wearing a jacket!

“Oh sorry, did I keep you waiting?”

“No! You didn’t. Let’s order up some coffee, pick a spot and start planning, kay?” I nodded.

We ordered our coffees and before I could even get my wallet out, he’s already paid for it. And we head out, spotted a bench and sat down.

“Thanks for the treat, you really didn’t have to do it.” I said while taking a sip from my mocha frap. Yeah, mocha frap.

“Heh, anything for you. But seriously, you’re freezing and you order a mocha frap. I don’t get you.” I blushed.

“Well, I hate bitter food and drinks. Anyway… songs you’d like to suggest?”

“Ummm, aha! No Air!” I shook my head.

“Nah. How about…Baby it’s cold outside?” I suggested.

                “No.   “

“Nah. Um…I Just Can’t Stop Loving You?” He looked bewildered.

“Hell no. I’m no Michael Jackson.  A thousand years part 2, ya know, that glee version?”  I was surprised

“You watch glee! Well, it’s ok. Wait!  I know, I know! Need You Now!”

“That’s also good, but I don’t know I can readily expose my talent in singing, let alone the guitar.” We didn’t speak up until suddenly…

“Endless love!” we said together and laughed.

“So, Endless love by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie it is, then.” I said, then a breezy wind passed by, making me shiver.

Then I felt something warm on my shoulders, and someone get my mocha frap. Daemon’s jacket, and he threw my mocha frap away. “You-you sure? You might get cold!”

“Nah, I’ll be fine. You need it more than I do. You might catch a cold.” I blushed, aww he’s concerned for me! “And besides. Is looks better on you.” He added.

“So Cherie, let’s practice our song, shall we?”

“Cherie? Hey dude my name’s Harmony.”

“I know. It’ll be my nickname for you, Cherie.” And he winked at me. And we did start. Had a few laughtrips here and there but we finished it. It was time to go home. I was about to return his jacket but he declined. “You can keep it. Looks good on you. Take care Cherie. Goodnight, sweet dreams” I told him the same and we went.
