Hello guys~! This is my first story, i hope you'll like it. I'm sorry if my English are bad cause it's my second language. Well, climb aboard! Let the story begin ;)
Good news, i've finally edited it XD
~~~
It was dark. Like every other days I spent in my worthless life.
It was unusually very loud today. I didn’t know what people are fussing about and I didn’t want to know.
I closed my eyes, trying to get some sleep. But the next second I was frowning. I got up and sat on the cold tile of one of the jail room. I liked the cold feeling of the tile. It felt like it could clear my messy mind. It was refreshing despite the situation in this wrecked place.
I looked at my hand as if searching for something. When I didn’t get anything, I stood up and went to look at the half broken mirror in the wall.
The mirror showed a figure of a young guy around age twenty with pale skin as pale as chalk and hair color as black as charcoal. His eyes were silver with a mixture color of greenish leaf in it. His lip was chapped and pale. He wore a button down black shirt and ripped jeans with a pair of black boots. He looked like a death angel.
Except he was a zombie.
And that zombie was me.
I touched my reflected eyes on the mirror. What am I? I felt weird. I felt different. I was different from any other zombies. Why was I different from other zombies?
I didn’t lose my sanity. I didn’t lose my mind like other zombies. Why didn’t I?
It wasn’t like I didn’t feel grateful about that but it didn’t feel good when you live between life and death. I came into conclusion that I was actually half zombie. That sounded ridiculous right? But that was what I am. I also realized that I forgot most of my memories from when I was alive, from when I was completely human. I didn’t know when did I got bitten but when I woke up, I knew I wasn’t like any other zombies. I was terrified when I woke up in between them. I thought they were going to eat me all at once but then I realized they saw me like any other zombies. That was when I knew I was one of them—half of them actually.
Knock knock.
Someone knocked on my door. From the way that person knock, I already knew whom it was standing behind that door.
“Yeah,” I said. I turned on the faucet. The cold water hit me as I cupped my hand and splashed it onto my face. I decided not to sleep.
My partner, Neo, opened the door behind me. He was one of the best shooter in the gang and girls are attracted to him. He got a bit long blonde hair that ended on his shoulder so he usually tied it. He got a pair of sparkling blue eyes and a charming and flirty smile that made girls in here squeal whenever they saw it. He wasn’t really a playboy he just liked girls. Well that was what he said I didn’t know if there was any difference.
“Hey,” Neo greeted, stepping into my room and stood there, leaning against the closed door.
“What’s with all the fuss?” I asked. He spent most of his time outside to talk with other people, mostly girls though. But they didn’t attract him; he attracted the girls. I turned off the faucet and wiped my face with my shirt then turned around to see him.
“Head out then,” he said, jerking his head toward the door. He opened the door and lights came rushing in. I squinted and covered my eyes with my hand to prevent too much sunlight. “We got a newcomer.”
