“Is this place finally became our official hideout?”

I looked over to Neo who was eating his breakfast beside me in the cafeteria. He was currently munching his food hungrily. I guess what he said could be right. We even got some chefs to cook the foods. It had been two weeks now and Carlos didn’t announce anything on when we were moving. We didn’t usually stay in one place this long; we always travelled. That was why everyone must’ve been questioning it now. There must be something wrong.

“Does this mean we finally have our secret hideout?” he asked again.

“If you want an answer you can ask Carlos,” I said, focusing on my food. I didn’t care though if we finally staying here from now on. I thought this was better than traveling without any specific place to go.

“Or Tamara, she’s sitting just a few tables from here,” Razel placed her tray in front of me and slipped in to sit on the bench, eyeing Tamara who was eating with a few guys. “Good morning,” she smiled to both of us.

“Morning, honey,” Neo greeted back, grinning like a Cheshire cat again whenever he saw a beauty like Razel. These days he liked to hit on Razel more but unfortunately his sweet words didn’t work on Razel. I guessed that was why Neo was so eager to hit on her. “Now that you’re here I don’t mind not knowing the answer.”

“Bullshit, that’s just because you’re afraid of Alozskia,” I joined in as I took a bite of my food and Neo nudged me in the arm almost making me choke on the spoon. I glared hard at him.

He scoffed, half-laughing. “You’re getting more talkative these days, aren’t you, Kaz?” he placed his cheek on his palm, staring at me with the same grin on his lips. He seemed happy about it.

I just shrugged and kept eating my food.

“I’m guessing you’re the source, hm, honey?” Neo turned to Razel who was also busy eating her food.

She looked up from her breakfast and stared at Neo, then at me, then back to Neo before she smirked. “I’m guessing it might be true. Did it have an impact on you that you’re not the reason on why he’s being talkative right now?”

“I’m going to be blunt with you now,” Neo punched his chest, right on the heart. “It does feel hurt.”

“Disgusting,” I muttered, finishing my food. Both of them laughed at the same time. It became noisier around me ever since Razel joined us. She really did get along well with us, but the closest was still with me. Sometimes we liked to have practices just the both of us, sometimes Neo liked to join in, and sometimes all five of us including Celeste and Steve liked to have a battle together. Honestly, it became more interesting and… fun.

“Where are Celeste and Steve?” she asked while chewing her food at the same time. Her eyes flew across the room, searching for a pair of familiar figures.

“Making out in the kitchen,” Neo simply answered and Razel choked on her food.

I gave her my drink and glared dagger at Neo who was laughing.

“What? She shouldn’t be eating while talking at the same time in the first place,” he said in between laughter. He was right though.

“That’s dangerous,” she coughed, after accepting my drink and drank it all. Her eyes were teary and it made her blue eyes sparkle. Ever since that day whenever I made contact with her eyes, it was hard to look away anymore. It gave me the feeling to fall into her eyes, to let it warm my body and soul, to let me swim in the sea of hope and dream.
