Chapter 15 Awkward

Aaron invited me over to talk about something. Is it a good sign? Anyways, I was making my way to Aaron's house. Before I could nock I heard to male voices, as if they are in a heated argument.

"Dude, back off she is mine!" One of them yelled.

"Dude! I just met her!" The other male voice stated.

"Still! Just back off!"

I couldn't take it anymore and knocked as loud as I can. The males voice was gone, house was silent and ended with a click of the doorknob. The door then opened enough for me to see Aaron smiling and Zane sitting on the couch with a chill posture. Aaron gestured me to come in and I did so. When I walked in, I immediately made my way to the couch across from Zane. My boyfriend sat down next to me, looking at Zane.

"Zane, why are you here?" I asked, with a questioned face plastered.

"I don't know" he started tapping his chin, "Aaron invited me here for some reason"

"Oh"

"Anyways, I'll get going if I'm bothering you guys" He stated getting up.

"Yes you a-" Aaron replied coldly but was interrupted by my elbow jabbing he's rib cage.

"No! You're fine" I smiled sweetly.

"You sure?" He frowned but immediately changed when I have him a nod. The boy's eyes started to glisten. I had to admit, it was pretty cute.

Aaron didn't seem to like Zane's company, he just glared at him. That's my boyfriend alright, too protective. It seems like he is JELOUS? Naw, he knows I love him. Do I? I mean Zane is pretty cute, hot, smart, nice, and- WAIT WHAT DID I SAY?!

"You okay?" Aaron asked.

"Yeah, I-I'm fine. Totally not thinking Zane is cute or anything I said" I murmured the last sentence, though my face was still heating up.

"No one is falling for that Aphmau!" Zane, angrily yelled. That moment I felt scared.

Zane soon realized what he did and he sighed, "I'm sorry, We're just worried."

I slowly calmed myself and just smiled. It's weird how I just met him, yet he seemed to care about me a lot. Aaron though, seemed a little upset, it's odd because he doesn't usually act like that towards others. Not even, Garroth or Laurance!

I eventually got up and hugged Zane. Am I to clingy? Not sure, but something about him makes me feel.... Different. He immediately returned the hug which made my face burst into flames. Out of the blue, Aaron just "coughed", so it interrupted our hug. I was actually glad because I would've turned into lava by now!

"Okay, well, I think you guys should get going, I need to do something" Aaron said.

"Oh okay. Well, bye Aaron!" I smiled.

I started walking towards the door to escort myself out but I was beat by Zane. He opened the door like a gentlemen. Aaron doesn't do that.. I shrugged it off and thanked Zane for opening the door for me. He asked me if I can come over, I reassured  with a smile.

We starting making our way towards Zane's house. On our way, I had a few thoughts or questions. It Garroth's family really loyal? Why is Zane being nice? Why does he seem different? The last question was running through my head. Why does he seem different?

"Aphmau!" Someone yelled.

"W-wha?" I was completely bewildered because I didn't know that I sorta zoned out.

"Something wrong? You seem a little off?" He questioned with curiosity.

"N-n-nothing"

"You sure?"

"Yeah.."

"Mmmhmmm, okay well we're here anyways"

Zane went onto his porch and unlocked his door. He gestured me to come in and I did. I took a quick look around and took off my shoes. He shut the door behind us, then asked if I wanted to watch My Little Horses. I nodded filling myself with joy. I sat down on the sofa that is aimed towards the TV and waited for Zane who was setting it up.

Zane was done setting it up, he sat next to me and started the show. We ended up singing songs that was in the show. I know it's childish but it's fun. Though, I have a weird feeling that I'm being watched...
