Chapter 8 I need to rest.

The door was wide open. I was watching Sword Art Online, it was the best anime on my tab! At least to me. Though hours of watching SAO, I couldn't get out of my dark room, all you could see was my face staring blankly at the screen. The show went on and on, but one voice shacked me back to life.

The door slowly began to open, and light crept into my room. A familiar voice was heard,"Aphmau?".

I then slowly turned my head, towards the guy coming in.

"You okay?" He asked.

I couldn't say anything, I don't know why but I just want to finish this last episode so I turned back to the screen watching.

"Aphmau, what are you watching?"

"Sword Art Online" was all I could say, that's when the entire season has ended.

"Wait, Swo-" Before he could finish, I looked up at him and squealed.

"SAO IS SO AWESOME!!! AHHHHH! EVEN THE GIRLS ARE CUTE, AND MY OTP IS CUTE!!!"

"Well, you could've ate while watching..." He sighed "but other than that, you need to get ready"

"Why?" I asked confusingly, closing the app and shut it down.

"Meeting or something.."

"Oh okay, thanks Zane for telling me!" I smiled.

"Heh, no problem" He exited out the door and closed the door behind him.

I looked at my phone and remembered I deleted the message last night. Just then my phone was heard, I looked at the text and saw:

A: Hello.
Me: What do you want?
A: It's me.
Me: NO JUST NO!
A: Aww come on!
Me: what do you want?
A: You'll never know.
Me: Oh ya?

I dropped my phone on my soft purple bed and tiptoed downstairs. When I got the middle of the soft light brownish stairs I saw Zane on the phone texting, me being curious I sneakily was able to go right next to Zane. Scanning his texts, it was my number.

It's pretty obvious, he has my name in his contacts plus his only friend is me and Garroth. Anyways, I decided to say something.

"Oh, look who we have here!"

"GAH!" Zane screamed in surprise, shooting up and was able to flip his phone in the air. Thankfully he caught it.

"Wow, Zane or should I say Anonymous?" I smirked.

"GAWSH DANGIT!" Yelled Zane.

"How did you get my number anyways?" I asked, looking at him with my hands on my hips.

"Don't you have to go?" He pointed towards the clock on the wall with a smirk.

"OH GAWSH!" I shot up, running upstairs, "IM NOT DONE WITH YOU!!"

Running, I heard a chuckle but was slowly fading away. I quickly grabbed out my purple shirt with jeans. Running down the stairs was tiring but I manage to pull through when I put my black converse shoes and grabbed my broadsword, putting it on my back. I then open the door quickly and ran through the pathways, my feet kept pounding on the hard floor until I reached my destination. The guard tower, where we usually do our meetings. Anyways, I made it to the meeting place and saw Garroth and Laurance, sitting on a chair. Laurance was looking love struck. While, Garroth was looking at Laurance with a concerned face.

"Laurance? Are you dead?" Garroth asked poking him.

"Yeah~" Laurance purred.

"Oh okay, let's go Aphmau" Garroth grinned sheepishly.

"Maybe because it's Melissa!" I snickered.

When I said Melissa, Melissa broke the door to get in.

"You know.... You should've just turn the knob" I yelled.

"Naw I'm to cool, for you!" Melissa sassed.

"Haha, very funny! Anyways, we are at a meeting and Laurance to dead in love" I laughed, "can you bring him back to life?"

She shrugged, "Sure, why not?".

She then walked over to Laurance and tapped his shoulder whispering "Laurance?" The man who was "dead", snapped into reality and fell of the chair.

"Nice one, Laurance!" The Meif'wa giggled.

"I-I" Laurance stuttered, blushing.

"Heh! Anyways, better listen blushing man!"

"Am not!"

"Whatever!" He then took a seat next to Laurance, while I walked over to the table.

We decided to discuss about Zane. We weren't sure, if he was faking or not faking. It's a new thing for me since he's so nice. But even if he's faking, he still is a very good actor; let's see how long that lasts. Later on we decided to talk about the Phoenix Alliance. We have almost every village in our alliance but know for sure that the O'kasis guards and Lord Garte is going to get Zane back. Either Zane is going to die, or clear his memory. Like that's ever gonna happen, I hope not. Even if he's bad he doesn't deserve to erase his memory. Hours went by where we were still discussing.
