Augustina's pov:
So today was my first day being an intern at the Moritello law firm , but unfortunately I have to work my way up from the bottom so they're starting me off at the police academy . So I get to play cops and robbers for two weeks. *Sigh* .
Suddenly and alarm went off in the building letting everyone know that we're needed.

"Hey new girl get your  gun and badge your coming with us" said one of the female officers.
"Yes ma'am " I said .

I was kind of excited and nervous at the same time but it's cool to see everyone in action.

"Follow  me and the names  Cara  by the way "she said.
"Hey Cara I'm Augustina but you can call me August " I said.

" Nice name for a pretty girl oh and your driving " she said as she handed me the keys .
As we were walking to the car she asked me some questions.
"So auh what's your supernatural form " she asked.

"This is kinda embarrassing but I haven't  really explored my abilities yet honestly as a little girl growing up my parents took me to every supernatural doctor there's was and no one was able to explain why I didn't have any powers . Till finally one day I went to see a doctor and they told me I was a hybrid half vampire half witch . But surprisingly mostly human. I haven't really learned much about my vamp just my witchy side.

"Wow that's  awesome your very rare normally the child would just receive one of there parents abilities but you got both.

"Damn girl you might wanna keep this a secret if someone finds out they might take advantage of you" said Cara.

"Well I trust you " I say.

"Well than August this is a start to a life long friendship " says Cara.

"Definitely " I said smiling

"Oh and by the way I'm a witch" said Cara.

"Sweet" I said.

I followed her to the car and got in the driver seat and started the hummer .
"So where exactly are we going" I said.

"Just follow the other cop cars and actually we're going to bust a major drug case that's been on going sense the 80's " she said happily.

"No way the Rodriguez case " I said excitedly.

"Yes girl" said Cara

"And word has it that Jasper  Moritello is gonna be there , I guess this is a highly dangerous case " she said.

"Really jasper is gonna be there " I asked again to make sure.

"Yeah girl I think so , it's crazy right we work for him and have only heard stories of this ruthless vampire . And girl I tell you the shit they been saying he's apparently a heartbreak and a killer " Cara says laughing .

We pulled in behind a row of cop cars a few blocks away from the warehouse.

I step out the truck and immediately smell this amazing sent . It sorta smelled like the ocean and coconuts .  A heavenly  sent.
"You okay girl " said Cara.
"Do you smell that it smells incredible " I say softly.
"No I don't smell anything" Cara says grinning. We walk towards the other cops and see them huddling up around some man barking orders.
