"Rebecca, you are a miracle. I actually understand math," Luke exclaims as I feel myself smile. Algebra, to me, have always been easy and being praised this way for being good at a subject was something almost foreign to me.
"Yeah, you should tutor us more often so Luke and I could actually pass," Calum says trying to show his gratefulness.
"I'll be fine with that," I tell them smiling. They were honestly good people and I wouldn't mind helping them out.
"Wait, you'd seriously do that?" Calum questions with a raised eyebrow.
"Of course." It made me wonder why they thought I wouldn't help them.
"Thank you Rebecca, it means a lot to us," Calum says.
I just gave them a smile before asking," so since I'll be tutoring the two of you, would you like to meet up regularly or just text me when we need to meet up for a tutor session?"
"What do you think Luke?" Calum looks at Luke for his choice.
"Hm," Luke looking out in space probably choosing the best choice.
"How about you text me when you've made your decision?" I suggest, not wanting them to choose just because of the pressure I'm giving them.
"Guys, I'm sorry I'm late. I woke up so late this morning," a voice behind me says. I turn around and see a boy with purple hair tousled all over. His son was pale white and I wonder who this boy may be.
He seems to finally notice me sitting down with his friends, I assume, and he seems startled. "Hi," he sheepishly says sitting down next to Calum.
Calum clears his throat, "this is Rebecca, Micheal and Rebecca this is Micheal."
"Hi," I wave shyly at him with flushed cheeks.
"Hi," he responds equally as award as I had.
"So Rebecca's going to tutor us in math," Luke says breaking the awkward tension that appeared when he came.
"Oh shit, can you help me too?" Micheal questions looking at me.
I was quite hesitant if I was being honest but considering him a friend of Luke and Calum, I knew I had to help him too.
"Of course, I just showed them how to do the homework. Do you three have the same teacher?" I question.
"Yeah just different periods," Calum tells me.
"Ah, I see. The bells going to ring soon so hopefully next time I can help you?" I turn to look at Micheal who seemed to be looking at me before already.
"Yeah, that'll be fine," he says with a smile.
"Where's your first period at?" Luke asks as we all get get up from our seats, pushing our chairs in.
"It's in the 300 wing," I tell him.
"Mines there too," Calum says from behind me but he then moves next to me. "I'll walk with you there."
"Well Michael and I have class in the 500 wing. I'll see you two later," he waves at us as we go our separate way.
"What class do you have?" I ask Calum, feeling a little uneasy with just the two of us.
"I have Language and Composition," he tells me and I look at him.
"Wait, you're a Junior?" I stupidly ask. Of course he was a Junior, unless he failed it last year which I doubt happened.
"Yeah, why?" he's looking back at me.
"Nothing, I just thought you were a senior like me," I tell him the truth. Calum and especially Luke was so much taller and different, I thought they were the same age as me.
