Chloe's POV
A picnic.
That's what Josh said to me, where we were going. On a picnic.
"See ya in 5 minutes Chlo." Josh's honey-golden voice says to me through my phone. "Bye." He hangs up.
I sigh, then pick up the blanket I brought to Las Vegas. We will use it as a picnic blanket.
*knock knock *
Ooo, he's here. I open up the door and he greets me with a kiss.
Apparently me and Josh knew each other before this vacation. He went to my school until 5th grade, and he had a huge crush on me. It's really cute.
"Hi Chlo," mutters Josh, kissing my neck. "Ready to go?"
"Yup," I reply, hoisting up the blanket and glancing at the picnic basket. "Let's go."
Once we get there, I spread out the blanket as Josh pulls out thing from the basket. Cheese. Sandwiches. Soda.
"Wow, this is beautiful," I gasp. He took me to a beautiful garden-like place, with palm trees and flowers.
"Yeah, thought you'd like it." Josh smiles. "So, do you want to hang out with me at the resort's pool later today?"
"Sure." I beam. "I can't wait!"
"Okay. It's a date." Josh takes a bite out of his sandwich.
"Mmmm!" I say as a take a bite out of my sandwich. "Who made this?"
"My friends that came with me," Josh replies.
"We'll tell them that it's deliciousssss," I say, emphasizing the 's'.
"C'mon, let's go run around." Josh puts down his sandwich and grabs my arm.
I quickly follow him.
We run around for hours, all dazed and loving. At one point Josh stops and kisses me until we can't breathe.
I'm in heaven right now.
When we finally return to our spot, we pack up our stuff.
Josh says, "Tonight at 10."
I repeat, "Tonight at 10," with a huge smile on my lips as we carry everything back to his car.
