Paige's POV
Drowsy, I insert my key card into the resort room key slot. It blinks green as I push open the door.
"Hey guys," I say, feeling wobbly.
"Yo." Kendall doesn't look up from the book she's reading.
"Hey Paige," greets Maddie, who was typing on her laptop. "What's up?"
"The sky," I say.
"Haha, very funny," she replies, then continues to look on her laptop.
"Hey Kendall? Guess what?" I say.
"What, Paige?" Kendall puts down the book she's reading.
"Guess," I press on, excited to tell her about Nick.
"WHAT PAIGE HYLAND??" She sounds mad.
And then I barf.
[ time skips ]
When I wake up, I am seated on the couch.
"What happened?" I ask, getting up.
"You okay, Paige?" Kendall lays right beside me. "You barfed, and then passed out. We cleaned up your barf, and just took you to the couch."
"You owe me one," Maddie calls out. "Your barf was so damn disgusting."
"Thanks, Mads," I say sarcastically.
"You're welcome Paige," replies Maddie.
"So, you were gonna tell me something, what was it?" Kendall asks curiously.
What was it? Shoot. I forgot. Maybe....wait, I remember!
"It's very faint," I start to say.
"Just tell me Paige!" Kendall shrieks, then grabs a pillow and swats me.
"Okay, okay!" I laugh. "When I was at the casino, guess who I saw?"
"Um...your sister?"
"No, not Brooke silly. Guess again."
"Kenzie?"
"Nope."
"Nia?"
"No."
"UGH PAIGE TELL ME!"
"I saw..." I paused to make it more dramatic. "Nick."
"What is he doing there?" Kendall asks.
"Making out with another girl," I say. Kendall doesn't say anything and I start to get scared.
"Are you positive? Where's the proof?" She demands.
"Here," I say, and then show her a picture I took of them kissing.
Kendall doesn't say anything.
Then she stands up.
