Infectious laughter and tears,
All of yours and everyone's fears.
Constantly and always in danger,
Of laughter, tears, and anger.
Regret, pain, and fear,
The loss of someone you hold dear.
Everyone uses emotions to their advantage,
You're always trapped in a cage.
Sympathy and pity,
Where is everyone's empathy?
Oh how easy it'd be if you were stone,
Emotionless and stiff as bone.
All your pain could be gone,
You wouldn't be used as a pawn.
Emotions are so harmful yet effusive,
But despite the pain everytime you feel, you live.
