After a long day,
Normally you come home and in bed you'll stay.Eyes drift to a close,
That's normally how it goes. But you're not normal,
That's the truth and is final.Lay in bed close your eyes,
Your mind a chaotic place full of lies.Voices and events
Never letting you rest.Every hour of everyday tired and hopeless,
Energy growing weaker and you becoming a mess.No release no matter how hard you try,
Every hour passing by and by.Sometimes thinking when you'll take the dive,
Wondering when you'll feel alive. Will you get a rest,
Or will it take over and get the best?Afraid of what people say you don't make a peep,
But eventually you need some sleep.Eventually you'll tire
And the circumstances will be dire.Eventually you force the rest upon you,
You'll regret what you do.Get some rest,
But don't let your demons take the best.
