Chapter 1
I can hear the rumbling of the bus coming, and butterflies in my stomach. I'm nervous. My first day of highschool. The bus slowly approaches me, and screeches to a stop. I get on, out of the harsh morning air, to see the sight of kenzie. I feel more welcomed to see my close friend inviting me over to sit with her.
The bus comes to a stop and I look up too see a familiar face walk down the isle. It's Jacob Finseth. I've talked to him a few times before because him and my boyfriend, Taylor, are friends.
*****Jacob's POV*****
I walk down the bus isle, my third year at the hell hole they call highschool. I walk to the back and sit with my friend Preston.
"Hey man" he says
"Hey"
"Did you see that freshman, um Em I think."
"Yeah, she's Taylors gifriend, I've talked to her a few times"
"Aw Taylor? Like Taylor Landis?"
"Duh"
"Just making sure, but how did he, end up with her?"
"Uh as far as I know she was friends with his little sister Jasmine and it just kinda happened"
"Hmm, they seem so different though"
"Opposites arrract I guess"
"I guess"
We remained quiet basically the rest of the way to school. For some reason I couldn't get Em out of my head. But oh well.
*****Em's POV*****
Kenzie and I didnt't really talk on the way to school, but I dont mind. I really wanted to get to school to see Taylor. Taylor is my boyfriend, we met early in the year, around february. He's my friend Jasmine's older brother. She wouldn't shut up about how cute of a couple we would be. He ended up asking me out and I said sure why not? So that's how we came to be and ever since then we've been together. We made a few more stops after Jacob and arrived at school. Everyone hurried off the bus and into the school. I walked into the the cool air of the school and found my locker. After putting my backpack and other things in my locker I decided to find some friends and chill before first period. As I walking through the halls I saw Stigen, god I hated Stigen, I still remember that awful night. I kept walking and ran into Taylor.
"Hey babe" I said in joy
"Hey whatcha up to?" He replied smiling.
"Just going to find some people to chill with before first period"
"Babe let's hang till then"
"Oh alright"
We didn't have much time till first period started but we had enough time to talk for a little. After the bell rang he walked me to class and walked off. My first class was math. I liked math, I was good at it.
The rest of the day went by pretty fast. The final bell rang and I headed out to the bus. I sat down and waited till the the bus left. I put in my headphones and zoned out till I I got off at my stop. I was thinking about Jacob, did I like him or something? I couldn't, I barely knew him. Besides, I have Taylor, they were friends, I couldn't do that. I needed to get Jacob out of my head, but how? I decided to check facebook. I powered up my laptop and logged on. I had a few notifications from friends, the usual. I decided to check Jacob's profile which probably wasn't the best idea but oh well.
