Kai's pov- are kids both just turned 5 and every day I see angel and I growing into are kids we've moved back to LA we live 10 minutes away from "are parents" so it's easier for us to work bc her parents are mostly there so we can.. I got angel that ring with the initials on it so when we're working we don't mess up our wedding rings but we have the ones with our initials on it to remind us both of what we have
Angel's pov-hey guys we recently moved back to LA Kai's been playing for the lakers for about 3 1/2 years now and it's been going good and I'm still a OB/GYN. Kai and are relationship is doing good it could be better he's in the playoffs rn in Brooklyn NY and he doesn't call,nor text and Ik he can't be that busy does he kno that I take the kids to school in the morning and when it comes my break @ work I pick them up get them food and make sure there settled @ my parents house and before I do all that my break is already over my mom and dad ask me if I need help with them and I continue to say no but that's going to change today Ima ask my mom or dad if they can pick them up bc that 1 hour or less break is a chill time for me that I need and me stressin ova the kids and sometimes Kai is weighing me down👇
After I take the kids to school Ima give Kai a lil call
Drops them off @ school calling Kai
Me*rings 4 times before he picks up*
Kai*otp sounding like he's moaning and everything*
Me*hangs up*-did I really just hear that? That can't be possible bro I really can't be I'm not going to be able to trust him anymore does he kno what he's doing to his family he's always saying this and that but it looks like he doesn't even mean a word he says I remember him saying that he comes home in about 2 days so that gives me time to get the kids some things packed myself ask for the kids to be excused from school and me from work and were going to go away for a while maybe back to Philadelphia ion kno we'll see
Goes to work and asks for some time off next picks the kids up from school asking if they could have there work assignments since there in kindergarten and she goes to her moms house telling her everything
Mom-angel that's horrible! Are u okay?
Me-yea mom I'm fine if he comes ova here asking u or dad anything look @ him like he stole something don't tell him that we're going to Philadelphia okay
Mom-promise I won't and Ima tell ur dad to alright
Me-okay mom thanks.. Kids it's time to go
Kids*running to there grandma hugging and kissing her goodbye and we leave going home*
Me-kids take baths and put on pjs
Kids*does as told*
Me*packs all of our stuff for about 2 weeks putting it into the trunk and getting the kids ready to leave*
KJ-mom where are we goin?

Me-were going on a lil vacation

Me-he's still playing basketball he'll be home a lil later okay
Avery-okay mommy *puts on her slippers and jacket both of them grabbing there IPads and beats*

Me-okay lets go *gets all in the car driving to the nearest Walmart-it's going to be a long trip so pick out as much snacks and drinks as u want
Both*look @ each other and they hop on the basket and we all zoom down the candy isle and soda isle*

Me*hands her the money and they leave to the car*
Avery-mommy what do we do with all of this stuff now?
Me-well we have to take it out of the bags then we'll figure it out but ion want u guys eating it all @ once okay

Us*gets all of it together they get in driving from LA all the way to Arizona that's like about 1 day and some hours*

Kai's pov-I've been in Brooklyn NY and I'm admitting that I'm having an affair angel just hasn't been giving me what I want she gave me kids and that's it I'm not going to tell angel bc Ik I would break her heart but the hell with that as long as I'm taking care of my kids that's all the matters she's still my wife and all when she wants pleasure I give it to her but when I want it its "awww babe not rn" or Kai "I'm on my period" like stfu excuses all the damn
time but I'm coming home today and I'm really looking forward to seeing my "family"
